The boys are back at it, having a crack at the NRL Grid. Spoiler, this week goes much better than last.
Another Wednesday means another episode of The Advantage Line, where Paul is joined by his panel of Nick Tedeschi and former NRL player Blake Ayshford to discuss all the recent happenings surrounding rugby league.To start things off, the lads crack into a review of all the action from NRL Vegas, making sure they touch on the good, the bad and the ugly from both hit outs.After looking at the Vegas games, it is all about the upcoming slate this weekend. The boys have another crack at the NRL Grid with varying results this week 😬
Week two of The Advantage Line Podcast is ready to roll!Starting out, the panel discuss the latest news across the sport, with the discussion centred around Mitch Barnett announcing his departure from the Warriors in 2027 and Hull KR beating the Broncos.
From there, the lads dig into a season preview as they talk through each side’s total wins prop and how they see that playing out, as well as selecting a top try scorer for each team.

The NRL Grid is like Wordle for NRL fans and the boys can't get enough of it. This year they're working as a team to finish the Grid each week as fast as they can.
The Advantage Line Podcast is back for the 2026 season!
To kick off the new season, Karl and his panel, Nick Tedeschi and former NRL player Blake Ayshford discuss the latest news surrounding the game. They start with the huge changes to State of Origin eligibility and then cover the groundbreaking transfer of Payne Haas to the Bunnies from 2027.
From there, the lads dive into predicting each team’s 2026 season using a song, movie, or TV show name as a reference. This is followed by the panel’s ladder predictions, from 1 through 17, with strong alignment on several selections.
To finish, they discuss some of the standout future markets ahead of the season’s kickoff.

Welcome back to another episode of The Advantage Line Podcast!
It’s the final episode of the year, and the lads wrap up an epic season of rugby league. They review the last weekend of internationals, where Australia beat England 30–8 to sweep the Ashes 3–0, and New Zealand claimed the Pacific Championship over Samoa. A big talking point was Deine Mariner’s disallowed try — would the result have changed if it had counted? The boys agree the match was played at Origin-level intensity, international footy now could be the pinnacle.
Kieran Foran farewelled the game in perfect style, ending a phenomenal career, while Dylan Brown picked up three Man of the Match awards and showed his worth for Newcastle next year. They also give credit to Stacey Jones for silencing the doubters.
The team looks back on a massive 2025 from Las Vegas and Magic Round to the Pacific Champs, calling it one of the best NRL seasons yet. To finish, they wrap up The Good, The Bad and The Ugly and throw out some early 2026 predictions, naming their premiers, top 8, wooden spooners, Dally M winner, and Team of the Year for 2026.
