Hosted by Tim Caple, every month the Classic Rock Podcast show is a magazine show with a mix of exclusive and archive interviews with some of the legends of the genre blended with the greatest Classic Rock from the last 60 years as well as the best of the months new music.
There are also features with authors of rock related books and and media. What we don’t do is play the same old songs from the same old albums or ask the same old questions to the same old names it’s all just a bit different to the norm and certainly not the “Same Old Song and Dance “

Onslaught were pioneers of a new sound back in the early 80's born from Punk and the NWOBHM they fused together a sound that would put them at the forefront of the thrash scene just as Metallica and Anthrax were emerging in the US.44 years later they are still performing across the globe and recording this month see's them head out on an extensive US tour .Nige Rockett one of the founder members of the band who has been there since day 1 joins us on the show today as we look back at their emergence in teh 80's and come full circle to 2026 and what the future holds.
Sad news today as it was reported that Tommy DeCarlo of Boston had passed away after a battle with brain cancer, Tommy guested on the show a while back when we looked back at his extraordinary story of how he came to front one of the most iconic bands of the last 60 years, we also talked about his solo work. So here is the feature we recorded with Tommy .
Chris Slade's career has spanned 7 decades during which time he has played with nd alongside some of the music industries legends from Jimmy Page, Paul Rodgers, Manfred Mann and perhaps most famously of all he was the man on the drum stool when AC/DC created perhaps their most famous track "Thunderstruck"
