Elizabeth Stein is the Founder and CEO of Purely Elizabeth which has, among other fabulous products, the most delicious and healthiest granola on the planet. I consume this granola at least twice a day and am known for bringing bags of it in my suitcase to competitions. It was actually my breakfast at the Olympics, so it’s safe to say I’m a huge fan! Elizabeth is such a passionate, creative and really determined woman. She  leads with curiosity and sheer belief in herself and her mission, and has continued to innovate, to grow, and to take the world by storm. This conversation covers it all, from the surprising marketing power of a blueberry muffin at a local triathlon, to the biggest disasters that Elizabeth has had to navigate with grit and with grace. Please welcome to the ‘Lilah Jo Show,’ Elizabeth Stein. Find Elizabeth here:Instagram- @purely_elizabethEverything else - https://linkin.bio/purely_elizabeth/Episode mentions:Gluten Free Paris Patisserie: Maison PlumeBerry Crisp Recipes:  https://purelyelizabeth.com/search?type=product,article,page&q=berry%20crisp%20* Music by Dyalla Swainhttp://soundcloud.com/dyallas

Adam Rippon:Need I say more? Charm, charisma, commitment to his dreams and comedic timing … how can you not love Adam? Most of you know Adam from the 2018 Winter Olympics, where he won the bronze medal with Team USA, while also winning the hearts of America, and the world and that matter. How did he do this? Well, he showed up as his true self, unapologetically, and claimed the Olympic experience that he had been chasing for years.Adam’s path to the Games was not easy, and he handled adversity with determination, courage, a healthy dose of humour, and by doing the work in the dark so that he could shine in the light. He sure did.Adam also made the bold decision to come out publicly back in 2015, which made him the first openly gay athlete to represent the United States at the Olympics. He takes the global stage, both on and off of the ice,  to speak out in support of LGBTQ+ rights and the freedom to be oneself. Adam empowers millions around the world by owning who he is, but this wasn’t always easy for him. It took work, setbacks, and leaving his comfort zone for Adam to become the confident and fearless man that we so admire. Guess what. You have this in you too, and Adam’s going to tell you how to bring it out, by sharing his story. It all started with a deep quote on a Lululemon bag. Find Adam here:https://linktr.ee/adamripponMusic by Dyalla Swainhttp://soundcloud.com/dyallas

Loved hearing about Tiffany's early life in London with her Father, and Ice Dance Coach at Queen's! Every rink had those Dance Intervals, and still do in England. :-))

I LOVE The Lilah Jo Show! :-) It's my favourite Podcast with a coffee as Lilah is the best interviewer and such an engaging, intelligent and likeable person. Great to have season 2. A broadcasting natural, a media career awaits in her future.

I really enjoyed this conversation so much! 💕 Straight into my top 3 of Lilah's podcast episodes. Full of useful advice about having the discipline to make time each day for moving your body, going for a walk, and taking in your surroundings and not being distracted by social media and what's on TV, which as Lilah says, can create a numbness of another day has gone and what did you achieve? For me listening to this podcast fulfills that need to think about things I am doing and how I am living. Molly, from Waverly Project, talks about having people in your life who are fountains and not drains, and nourishing yourself when alone. They talk about the experiences mentoring provides for young girls, and quotes to live by. One of my favourites since teenage years is from the Rolling Stones song "Ruby Tuesday" - "Lose your dreams and you will lose your mind". Simple but so true. 🌹

I was so interested to hear Molly say to look at a child between 7-10 to know what their passions will be in later life! I was making Library book tickets, sticking them in my books, and pretending to have my own Library. Also writing letters to my teacher in the school holidays! 😃 Whilst writing didn't become my career, it has been a safety valve in stressful times, and a pleasure in happier times as a means of expression and release, and I enjoy reading, it's such an escape. Also loved Molly's advice to not worry about who isn't in your life, but devote energy to those who are.👌 I've wasted way too much time on that!! Looking forward to part 2 in the Hamptons.☺

Stephane Le Duc sounds so laid back, but in Part 2 of his conversation with Lilah, describes racing to the Paris Metro to catch every show, each day of Fashion Week, and the excitement that builds at a live event, with the lighting design and spotting the famous in their exotic clothes. Also he advises to try and overcome shyness inorder to take every opportunity and experience available to you in life and career, and the skillset needed to adapt to the modern world, where one line of work is not enough, and multi-jobs are becoming the norm. But if you have a passion for Fashion / Media / Culture, you can succeed in your chosen field.

Future PM? Such a confident, mature young woman with a strong personality and advice on changing your mindset from negative to positive, and achieving your life goals. I'm glad she gives Motivational talks to young schoolchildren, as that's when the rigid traintrack of your brain focusing and ruminating on negative thoughts and anxiety sets in, and it becomes much harder to change as you get older sadly, particularly if you don't have a supportive family.

Wow, I wish I had been as clued up about the positive aspects of life at a similar age. This interview led me on to reading other very interesting things, and I discovered Bella is also Brian Glanville's granddaughter, as the World Cup is taking place, sadly minus Italia. Okay, not everyone lives in such a rarefied world of travelling and being involved in exciting things, but Bella sounds like her feet are firmly on the ground. So looking to part 2 of this fascinating conversation! 💕
