Hobart, Indiana's deal with Amazon for a data center is a perfect example of why these data center deals are bad. In exchange for investing virtually nothing back into the city, Amazon gets decades of no taxes.
Remember when copyright laws applied to everyone? Well apparently that doesn't count for A.I. companies. For example, "Project Panama" where Anthropic scanned and then destroyed millions of books without permission in order to train their models

Great recap, but the audio is terrible. I can hear the guy just fine, but the women must have had their mic settings on low or something. I had to turn it up to the highest settings to hear them only to have my ears blasted when the guy speaks.
