Finishing the show with SEGA's finest, the farewell episode brought along themes and stories from ALL previous episodes, a new Matching Up, new trash talk against other hosts, an emotional farewell but above all: GREAT Virtua Fighter music since the 4th game. A lot of it.
Highlighted by Toshinden, Dead or Alive and Soul Calibur, the series went back to its roots of pure babble and music for the penultimate round. Relive classic music from all 3 newer SEGA consoles only on FiS!
22 years of fighting game music excellence could only bring forth a pleasant episode for your SEGA fan ears. From 1993's Eternal Champions to 2015's Fighting Climax, we covered a lot of SEGA history on the span of 90 minutes - not to mention the Matching Up challenge and yet more RS host wars!
A loopy ride comprising of a series of different versus: the Capcom dream-match ones against SNK and Marvel, and also some trash talk between RadioSEGA hosts for your enjoyment. The story and the best music of the Darkstalkers series (as always, on Sega consoles or arcades) and the aforementioned versus games is here, as the third chapter of the Matching Up is also out. You're all also going to be taken for a ride countless times...
From the creepy Dan Forden creations to the metalhead Daisuke Ishiwatari's, FiS took a hairpin turn on its sound to great effect. After all, Guilty Gear music is a WIN just by itself! Banter with listeners, great heavy music that you can request on RadioSEGA, and more challenges: everything's there for your enjoyment!
FiGHTS: into Streams... got bloody as the creeping and spookying tunes of the early Mortal Kombat games echoed through many audio speakers around the world. Reliving the controversy of the early 90s and introducing the first Matching Up challenge, this show took a different turn from what you were used to.
Guest-starred by surprise cameos from legends such as Raul Julia and Segata Sanshiro, enjoy one hour filled with nostalgic Street Fighter information up to 2002 as well as some of the best tunes played from SF2CE to SF3-3S. Also, the mystery track was the most daring to date!
SNK's massive work in fighters had a big share of SEGA's consoles segment, ever since the Mega Drive until the very end of the Dreamcast. This episode plays tunes from a large variety of their series, plus the much dreaded LARGE segment about KoF's bosses. As a bonus, there's the mystery track and some fun chatter with listeners.
Following up with VF, the second episode of FiGHTS: into Streams... talks about the story of the King of Fighters franchise all through the 8 years it graced SEGA consoles - a good informative documentary about a remarkable series, also with lots of great tunes!
