On this episode I first talk about the dominant run that Danny Hurley and UConn have been on in the last 2 seasons. They captured their 2nd title in 2 years and their 6th since 1999 so I break it all down while also showing Purdue love. I then talk about the seismic news in college hoops where John Calipari decided to move on from Kentucky and take the job at Arkansas. I then view the options and speak on who Kentucky’s next head coach might be. Tap in ‼️
On the latest episode I got my guy Tyler back to discuss : this past 23-24 season, Mady Sissoko's decision, Coach Montgomery leaving, Jaden Akins and what to expect going into the Summer and next season. Tap in‼️
On this episode I'm joined by Lansing's own Tyler Bennett to discuss : Experiencing the Breslin Center, what has gone wrong for MSU so far this season, how can it be fixed, adjustments that can be made and what we think the future of the program is for Izzo's last stretch. Tap in ‼️
On this episode I got my guy Dave (@IowaHoopsDave on twitter) to discuss : our matchup with his Hawkeyes and my Spartans, our overall outlook of the Big Ten so far this season, Owen freeman's presence and the greatness that is Caitlin Clark. Tap in
Iowa State is currently sitting at the 2nd spot at the top of the Big 12. Going into this season barely anybody was talking about them and yet here they are with an undefeated record at home in the 2nd week of February. TJ Otzelberger and his staff did a great job of assembling a roster via returners and the transfer portal. So on this episode I breakdown why the Cyclones are one of the top teams in the entire country. As always tap in ‼️
In year 1 at Texas Tech Grant McCasland and his staff have the Red Raiders as a top 3 team in the Big 12. So on this episode I breakdown how and why they’ve had this much success up until this point of the season and why it will continue all the way through March. Tap in ‼️
On this episode I give my flowers to John Calipari and this Kentucky Wildcats team. I go in depth on each of their rotational players and why the Cats have a great chance of getting to the final four for the first time in a long time. Tap in ‼️
On thee first official episode of Talkin hoops wit Kev Luke I had to talk about the downward spiral of both USC and UCLA's men's basketball programs. For 2 really good programs as we currently stand they are both 6-7 in this young 23-24 season. For UCLA and Mick Cronin it is not the end of the world but Jaime Jaquez and Tyger Campbell are not walking through that door. It's time to grow and develop the talent that you actually recruited. For USC and Andy Enfield those hot seat conversations must heat up. He is in Year 11 and has superb talent but they look outclassed in 80% of the games they've played in so far. As always tap in ‼️
We are back and on this episode I talk about my struggling Spartans and give 7 reasons to why they are currently sitting at 4-4. There is no real reason to hit the panic button but there is plenty of concerns and I go in depth on each one of them. As always tap in‼️
On this episode I simply tell the good folks out there my 5 major takeaways from this first week of the 2023-24 college hoops season. Tap in ‼️

On this episode I have my brother Pablo (@CoachPCong) to talk : His earliest memories of Duke, favorite Duke team of his time, expectations for this 2023-24 blue devil squad, the Duke sophomore he believes will take the biggest leap, Cooper Flagg, respecting New York City basketball, our sleeper college hoops teams, the Lakers and finally our All-time Duke and Michigan State starting 5's. On today's episode I talk about the two major trades that took place last week where the Milwaukee Bucks landed Damian Lillard and the Boston Celtics landed Jrue Holiday. I go in depth about both of these teams and why they'll both yet again have championship aspirations while I also tell y'all my personal concerns with each roster. Dame Lillard is now in a spot where he can realistically win a championship and all NBA fans should be happy for him while the Blazers future looks pretty good. I didn't really mention the Phoenix Suns outlook in all of this either but I love the work that James Jones has done in this past offseason. For the Celtics they finally get a TRUE point guard in Jrue that will make things so much easier for both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. As always tap in

On this episode I talk about why I am actually a firm believer in this Tennessee Volunteers squad for this upcoming 2023-24 college hoops season. The SEC has plenty of question marks heading into the year but the Vols have a lot of solid pieces in areas that they usually struggle in, so I'm curious to see how it plays out for them in these next few months. Rick Barnes and staff went out this offseason and addressed mostly needs and not just wants like most programs do nowadays in the transfer portal era. Tap in ‼️
On this episode I talk about my Miami Heat winning the Eastern Conference this past Monday and advancing to the NBA Finals. I then quickly talk about the Celtics issues and why they aren’t that difficult to fix and I finish off by previewing the NBA finals with my Heat facing off against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets. As always tap in ‼️
On todays episode I talk about the Sixers being dead in the water after folding both Game 6 and Game 7 to the Boston Celtics and what direction they go from here. I then talk about Monty Williams getting fired from the Suns and why even though I don’t think it was the correct move I still understand why Mr. Ishbia went down this route. As always tap in ‼️
