High School Slumber Party

Join us on a very special Coastal GrandBros as Cathy rejoins the podcast to ReWatch PS I Love You! Yes, Joe 2 is still on hiatus.

What's up, Fancy Face? Joe Two is kicked out of the beach house this week as he's contractually banned so Brian welcomes in none other than the perfect combination of sexy and cute; Kyle Reinfried, aka the Food Films Man, for a special episode on Crazy, Stupid, Love. Brian and Kyle dive deep into the Ryan Gosling of it all, the Steve Carell sad dad vibes, and Emma Stone’s perfect timing. They discuss the fine art of bar pick-up lines, a good backyard fight, and of course Kevin Bacon as David Lindhagen. Be better than the Gap!

We're walking the gritty streets of Hollywood with the 1984 cult classic, "Angel." The Superintendent Mike Manzi, joins us to peel back the layers of this unique story that blends the innocence of high school with the harsh realities of the night life in Los Angeles. "Angel" tells the tale of Molly, a straight-A student by day and a street-smart prostitute by night, who finds herself in the midst of a dangerous serial killer on the loose. Also don't miss Mike Manzi's insights and his teaser about continuing the discussion on his show, Second Time Around, part of the Third Time's a Charm podcast feed.

Brian welcomes back Bro Numero Uno Joe Two to the beach house to talk who else but Diane Lane and 2002's Oscar nominated classic: Unfaithful. Joe and Brian answer an email regarding Joe's beach fashion, discuss the best way to rid of a body, head bonks and the logistics of Unfaithful. Also staring Richard Gere, Olivier Martinez, one of the kids from Malcolm in the Middle and Uncle Junior from the Sopranos.

The second half of our special Halloween doubleheader has arrived on broomstick as Shawnee Mead returns to the slumber party to chat all about our first Disney Channel Original Movie: Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge. Brian and Shawnee discuss Debbie Reynolds, Kimberly J Brown and everything that makes this DCOM a classic. Find out the fatal mistake that made Brian's watch a little less enjoyable as well.
