Hopefully your hostess with the mostess with special guest, Wendy Kat. Hi, Wendy. I'm so excited to have you on today. You are one of my favorite favorite people I've had a chance to work with, and I thought, you know what? I need to bring her onto the podcast. We're obviously going to dual purposes this for YouTube, as well. And I want people to hear your story because it's inspiring. I just love hearing how you got into it. You're someone who's been in this industry a long time, and you've been with the same company the whole time, which is super rare, and have reached to the top of the company as well while juggling a busy family. So to start, why don't you introduce yourself? Tell everyone a little bit about who you are and what you do. Wendy Kat:   Okay. Well, thank you for having me Kimberly Olson: Of course! Wendy Kat:   Very exciting. So, my name is Wendy Kat and I'm a single mom. I have a son named Gavin, who's 20 and a daughter Giana, who's going to be 16. Kimberly Olson: Oh, wow. Wendy Kat: So, I know. And my life has just shifted recently. Like, they're just very independent. So, yeah, it's kinda crazy. And I just launched a coaching business and I have my other business and I'm just busy. Kimberly Olson: You have so much, you do it all. But I mean, my mom, I grew up with a single parent, and that's what she did. She just, she worked so hard and made sure we had everything we needed and I see that you're so driven, you know, take care of your kids and to see them successfully enter adulthood has got to feel like, "Oh my gosh, I high-five myself. I did it". Wendy Kat: I actually had a really good it's so funny. I just posted on Instagram, like a picture. I was like, like I was so happy. Cause I was like, this has been a good week. This has bee a good week, I just pat myself on the back. Kimberly Olson:   Oh yeah, girl. Wendy Kat:   So yeah, it can be hard. So you gotta' take every little win and celebrate. Kimberly Olson:   Absolutely. It's so, so true. So when you got into it, was it direct sales or is it considered network marketing? The company you're with? Wendy Kat:   Direct sales.

What we're going to talk about is the close relationship between your mental health and your mental wealth. If, like most people, you've heard about the amazing platform Clubhouse and I had a notification that someone invited me to come into a room. So I came in, and it was all these rockstar female entrepreneurs that are just crushing it. And the topic was mental wealth, and I had never heard that term before. So once I started thinking about it, I'm like, that's actually a really, really great way to describe the health that we have when it comes to our relationship with money, but also us making sure that we are thinking about it. We're proactively being- it's our money consciousness. So we're making sure we're thinking about it. We are asking the Universe for it. We're taking God-led, what do I call it? Inspired action is how I always describe it. Or divine downloads, whatever you believe in. But it's really honoring that and being okay with it, and seeing the world as abundant, and knowing that you will be blessed and blessed and blessed.  That's always the intention is that we are blessed multiple times over. So how does mental health impact mental wealth? Well, a lot of times when I talk to entrepreneurs, obviously I'm in the network marketing/ direct sales space and I'm a coach. So it's that realm. But a lot of times when I talk to them, they really, really want that breakthrough in their income. You know, they want to hit the rank advancement. They want to get the car bonus. They want to be able to quit their job or retire their spouse. And they're stuck. And they're like, I'm doing all the things.

I already have, and I'm going to encourage you to do that as well for this year because things come and go. But there are some things that will stand the test of time. And I believe these three will. The first one is Clubhouse, are you surprised? Now at the time of this recording, it is still growing. It's still new, but it is exploding. It is absolutely exploding. The numbers, it's crazy. I think it was at a million users in January and it's at, maybe, I want to say a hundred million by now? My numbers could be wrong, you might have to Google it, but it's exponential. The reason why I do encourage this one for your list of skillsets to incorporate in your marketing is that Clubhouse is really about connection and collaboration. It gives you the opportunity to get in front of people that you never would, otherwise. I have met so many people that I've never crossed paths with on Facebook or Instagram, but I'm able to meet them on Clubhouse. And the way Clubhouse is set up right now, it allows people to click through to your profile on Instagram. So you have your Clubhouse profile, but when people click it, it is linked to your Instagram. So just with the click of a button, they can go to your Instagram account, obviously right away, they're going to follow you. And I have noticed that my following has doubled and my engagement has increased on Instagram. But I've also noted it has helped elevate my personal brand. Because the nature of the platform is to allow people to collaborate, like I said. Hosting rooms, you can even have your own club now. And by leveraging this, I have been able to establish myself as an authority figure in my space as someone who knows what she's talking about. So if you would love a captive audience or an opportunity to participate in someone else's room, you can be seen as that authority figure by participating in a great conversation, whether it's a great question or contributing

When you’re building the infrastructure of your business, be sure to ask yourself what you want to come from it. Envision your ideal life, and use your business to create it.
