The Josh Nason's Punch-Out 2025 pro wrestling year in review series rolls on with a stop in June and returning guest Kate Elizabeth of Fightful. Josh and Kate talk about CM Punk's controversial trip to Saudi Arabia, the whole R-Truth thing, AEW Grand Slam Mexico, and lots, lots more.
Andrew Zarian is back with another episode of Wrestling Observer Live Sunday Edition, talking about the latest wrestling news stories. This week, I break down Saturday night's Survivor Series War Games and discuss the highs and lows. Both War Games matches had their problems, even though there were some memorable spots. The highlight of the show was John Cena vs. Dominik Mysterio, which saw the return of Liv Morgan in a highly entertaining, overbooked match. I also talk about the Continental Classic current standings and the confusion between the Continental and International titles. Also, who should be in the finals at the end? Plus, Claudio Castagnoli wins CMLL Gold, Kenny Omega's booking, and Jushin Thunder Liger makes an indie appearance. All this and more!
Wrestling Observer Live with Bryan Alvarez and Lance Storm is back with tons to talk about including Survivor Series this weekend, the Continental Classic standings thus far, the Andrade situation, Ric Flair claims Hulk Hogan died due to street drugs, your questions and tons more! Make sure you check out our BLACK FRIDAY SALE at wrestlingobserver.com and get subscriptions as low as $8 per month!
On a new Josh Nason's Punch-Out, Josh and Mr. Warren Hayes return for an extended play stop in May 2025 on the pro wrestling year in review series. The best of WWE, AEW, NXTNAAA, Japan and the rest of the wrestling world awaits.
On a new Josh Nason's Punch-Out, Josh and returning guest Mike DellaCamera preview and predict the 2025 AEW Continental Classic.
Andrew Zarian is back with another episode of Wrestling Observer Live Sunday edition, talking about the latest professional wrestling news. In an AEW-heavy episode, I'm back talking about all the fallout from Saturday night's Full Gear, where new champions were crowned, with Samoa Joe and Mark Briscoe winning titles. I discuss the length of the show, the amount of blood during several matches, and how it impacted the crowd's interest in the women's title match. I also discuss the finish of the main event and the return of Swerve Strickland and the unserious nature of Prince Nana as he came out with Swerve. Plus, a quick Survivor Series preview before next weekend's PLE and more!
Hear Tony Khan's pre-AEW Full Gear 2025 media call now.
On a new Josh Nason's Punch-Out, Rich Kraetsch of Voices of Wrestling returns for the April 2025 edition of the pro wrestling year in review series. From the build to WWE WrestleMania 41 to the event itself to The Rock's excuse for not being there to AEW Dynasty to everything in between, it's all here and then some.
After a month off, TNA wrestling returned to action and immediately kneecapped their biggest hero. Mike Santana shockingly dropped the TNA world championship on their first live show after he won the title, in an unadvertised match, after a gang of NXT benchwarmers invaded the show. Between a new episode of Impact and the Turning Point app special the next night, TNA's world changed. What led to the angle? What might have inspired it? Did it work, and where do they go from here? It's not all doom and gloom, though--a recent WWE release reunites with some old friends and helps put on one of TNA's best matches all year. There's a lot to cover on the latest Big Vinny V Show!
On a new Josh Nason's Punch-Out, the pro wrestling year in review series continues with a stop in March 2025. Josh catches up with Rich Fann of Pro Wrestling Torch and Post Wrestling about the John Cena heel turn, AEW Revolution, and over 300 news items and headlines from the wrestling month.

On a new Josh Nason's Punch-Out, the pro wrestling year in review series for 2025 officially begins. Josh catches up with Jack Farmer for an extended look at WWE's Netflix debut, a strange AEW Dynamite theme song, Kenny Omega's return and lots more.
On a new Josh Nason's Punch-Out, Josh delivers all the AEW hot takes you could possibly handle to start your week. Joining him is past guest and our AEW PPV preview man, Mike DellaCamera. Indulge us, won't you?

NXT Halloween Havoc Review and More! Andrew Zarian is back with the latest Sunday edition of Wrestling Observer Live, talking about the latest news in professional wrestling. With a busy weekend of wrestling, I break down all the shows, including NXT Halloween Havoc, which featured an unexpected win in the women's division, a very good Lucha-style match with Ethan Page, and the return of the Hardys to NXT in a match that didn't live up to the expectations they led you to believe. I break down AEW Collision as a continuation of the story between Hangman Page and Samoa Joe, leading up to Full Gear. Additionally, I discuss the development of the women's division as they get ready to crown AEW Women's Tag Team Champions. AAA Heroes Inmortales took place last night, featuring Dominic Mysterio retaining the AAA Mega Championship. I talk about how he is positioned to be one of the biggest stars in WWE for years to come. Plus, a preview of upcoming shows, including AEW Dynamite, next weekend's Saturday Night Main Event, and IYO Sky's wins in Japan. All this and more!
On a new Josh Nason's Punch-Out, Josh catches up with author Guy Evans on his new 'Beyond Nitro' book and why he wants to write three books about Hulk Hogan, powered by a new Kickstarter.
Andrew Zarian is back with another episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Sunday edition. This week, in a heavy AEW edition, I give a full breakdown of the AEW WrestleDream PPV from Saturday night. I give my thoughts on the show as a whole, including the length of the show and the unique transition from the Tailgate pre-show on TBS to the PPV with a match in progress. I break down some of the best matches, including what might have been the best match between Okada and Takashita vs. Bandido and Brody King for the Tag Titles. Also, with the state of Missouri having a commission, how did that affect the show and especially the main event, "I Quit Match"? Plus a quick overview of other stories: AJ Styles' last Japan trip, Andrade's absurd non-compete clause, WWE using AI in creative, and a new Intercontinental Champion crowned on SmackDown. All this and more!

WWE is only going to bring talent onto their TV from TNA and AAA they want to bring to main roster so don't worry about NXT.

It's no surprise, like always another great Portland Wrestlecast. This isn't by any means meant to be disrespectful, in fact it's the exact opposite it's meant as a compliment. In my opinion Al Getz (who also does a great Podcast Charting the Territories) is the most interesting, coolest & absolutely without a shadow of a doubt the biggest nerd I've ever had the pleasure of listening to in my entire life and God blessing for it!
