Are you creating content? Or Are you creating culture? Today we look back at the first issue of Thrasher Magazine that I can remember ever seeing. This was the first time in my life when I can remember loving advertising as much as the content that it was there to support. This would create a lifelong goal of being a storyteller in advertising, content creation and media. Through my years as a musician, a designer in the music industry and now as a podcaster the story of a brand is significant to me as I try to tell my own as well as the stories of all of my guests. Every day when I hit record I know that I'm selling you something, my story, my idea, my guest, my sponsor. I hope that I do it in a way where you see real value and that hopefully, that value is our bond! I'm trying to create a community that values the same culture and yes being a consumer is part of it, but it doesn't have to define it.
