In this very special episode of Poisoned, Bald, and Still Standing, I’m joined by Laura—better known in my circle as the God Bless You Girl. Both of us are now eight-year cancer survivors, but our connection began in the most unexpected, silent, and uplifting way. In this episode, we’re telling that full-circle story. It’s about how the smallest gestures can make the biggest impact, the silent connections made in chemo rooms, and how sometimes the universe puts the right people in your path—exactly when you need them.

Laura lost her husband 5 years ago to Pancreatic Cancer and then she was diagnosed a few years later with Breast Cancer. We discuss her husbands diagnoses and then losing him to cancer and her own battle with cancer.

This episode I sit down with Jorja Johnson, Owner of Ideal Source Wellness to discuss the methods of which I was able to lose my weight that I gained from my Chemo Treatments and the Steroids.

I celebrated a birthday this month and it brought with it a lot of reflection and thanksfulness that I saw another birthday. I am starting a series on what the chemo treatments were like. This is round 1.

Update: Andrea had surgery on the 26th! She didn't need a hysterectomy and 95% of the tumor was gone! Her colostomy will be able to be reversed after she has healed from the surgery!
