Yet another mix, this time with some of my EDM/ Synth Pop favourites mixed by yours truly, including, Robyn, Ionnalee and more.
Friends, Eddy and Nikki from KeithFem(.com) in Berlin, join to review the surrealist women exhibition on at Louisiana until November 8th, titled "Fantastiske Kvinder" (Fantastic Women). The show showcases 34 underated female artists from the movement. We share our favourite works and add some context to them through a contemporary lens. In the same vein, our special guests sprinkle in some female power punk anthems from their HardcoreTuesday show to break up the dialog. You can follow them on their socials @hardcore_tuesday_f_em
I decided to do an original R and B Mix with the full range of the female vocal spectrum, interpreted by yours truly including Brandy, Monifah, Soul II Soul and plenty more. XXOO Enjoy
We are joined by a David Shrigley super fan, who also happens to be an amazing friend, Andrzej Ford, to review "DO NOT TOUCH THE WORMS" currently at Copenhagen Contemporary and Tal R's sculpture exhibition, "Animals and People" at Glyptoteket. Man, do we miss his accent! Enjoy
Fabric Softener is a live radio program by good friends, Isabella Sobieski and Claire Gusko focusing on hip-hop and R & B from today and yesterday. They invited Brandon to select some of his favourite summer songs for a break from the turmoil in the world. Enjoy your summer everyone! Be back in the Fall.
I did a new mix featuring some of my favourite lesser known (mostly female) rappers; including, Kamaiyah, Heather B, Rapsody, Ivy Sole and more. "Bop Ya Head 2 Dis One" xoxo
As a country, Denmark has completed the first phase of the COVID-19 protocols outlined in the second half of March 2020. Going forward, we are all anticipating being out and together again. In this episode, we look at what that means for the Danish cultural institutions, with special guest Camilla Jalving, the deputy director of collections, research and conservation at SMK museum, along with our Mathilde Helnæs of Søro Museum.
Still in quarantine and still mixing, hoping everyone is close to their families. I wanted to send a wink to mine back home all the way from across the pond. Special thanks to my cousin, Belinda Richardson Gleaton, who doesn't know I did this (don't ask for permission, ask for forgiveness). This mix includes music from, Funkadelic, Zogo, Alicia Myers, Chaka Khan, Disclosure, Nana Love and more. xoxo
We are, hopefully in the middle of a, not too much longer, Novel Corona quarantine in Denmark. As we all binge through countless hours of Netflix and the like, Mathilde and I took the time to provide some alternative ways of spending your time online, including; games, literature, performance art and, of course, more movies. Be well everyone and stay separated. <3
Since everyone in Denmark is stuck inside because of the Corona Virus COVID, I thought I'd do a mellow #RandB mix featuring: Tamia - "Officially Missing You" Quadron - "Sea Salt" Calvin Harris (Frank Ocean, Migos) - Slide Enjoy

After the cancellation of Art Basel Hong Kong and the postponement of many major auctions worldwide, we decided to dig deeper to discuss how the outbreak of the Corona Virus is directly effecting art markets in the western world and speculate what will happen next. Mathilde Helnæs co-hosts.

Mathilde Helnæs joins to preview the "Language Hospital" exhibition at Sorø Kunstmuseum (extended until February 2nd). The exhibition raises questions around the language and methodologies we use to describe emotions and pain to medical professionals. Also, how the UK and Canada have included fine art and culture to their health services, in order to save them money, time and resources.
