Most Christians want to live and function in the will of God. They want to know who the right partner is, if they are in the right job, if they are in the right ministry. They want to know where to live, if they should have children, and how many children. Unfortunately, the majority of Christians often find themselves outside of His Will or perhaps in the permissive will of God. How do we align ourselves to His Perfect Will? And how do we redeem the time?
Desensitization is the gradual process of one becoming numb and dull to what's happening around. Being bombarded with so much content online, we can easily become desensitized and numb to sin and to evil. Isaiah’s prophecy in Isaiah 5:20-23 is coming to past. Every single verse is a true depiction of what’s happening in our world and culture today with lies and perversion celebrated while truth and righteousness scorned and persecuted. Wake up before you go numb!
One of the signs Jesus said would follow us in Mark 16:17 is, “In My name, you will take up serpents…”. This is part of the Great Commission and if we’re to do all He commands – heal the sick, cast out demons – we must also ‘TAKE UP SERPENTS!’ What does that mean and how can we have victory over serpents and scorpions?
Being dependent on God doesn’t mean being passive. Instead, it's to actively work with Him as our Master Builder, trusting His wisdom rather than our own strength. As we submit our plans, relationships, and efforts to Him, God builds fruitfulness that lasts.
Divine Convergence is the sacred moment when heaven’s reality intersects with earth’s conditions. In The Lord’s Prayer, Jesus reveals God’s desire – not for heaven and earth to remain separate – but for God’s rule, authority, and purpose to be manifested in everyday life. Get ready for a time of connection with heaven like never before!
We’re living in a season of urgency where we must not be tardy. The Father’s business calls for His people to rise from complacency and respond with urgency to the mission. God is calling us to give it all we have in order to gain all He desires.
From the beginning, fellowship was God’s first desire. When the fall of man fractured this, worship gave focus to restore and sustain communion. Heaven now waits for agreement on earth for this union. For when heaven touches earth, chaos gives way to order, God’s will breaks through to override human limitations and His Presence turns the ordinary into holy ground.
The Jesus Way isn’t just a belief – it’s a way of life. Discover what it really means to follow Jesus daily, walking in His footsteps, loving as He loved, and choosing obedience even when it costs. Discipleship is more than admiration from a distance; it’s a call to live differently, move faithfully, and trust Him every step of the way. Following Jesus doesn’t just change your direction, it changes you.
I don’t know of anything I desire or long for more than this. This is my one consummate desire – to see His Face. A face-to-face encounter with God is the longing of every saint in every generation, and His promise to us is we shall see His Face. While this is a future promise, the challenge is for us to appropriate it right here and now. We can see His Face and we must!
Psalm 116:7 instructs us - "Return to your rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good to you." In His goodness, we're drawn to come back to the place of rest. That's where His goodness is discovered. As we come to the end of the year, may we remember where we came from. What started from a place of rest in God cannot end in strife. We need to honour this holy pause.
Many want a new year, yet resist a new way of living. What we truly need isn’t another resolution, but a deeper revelation of who God is and what He desires to do in us. The Christian life isn’t just hard; it’s impossible without Him – and that’s where real life begins. It’s time to step beyond comfortable Christianity, into a faith that truly depends on Him and dares to live the impossible through His power.
Is there a crisis in the Singaporean Biblical worldview? If the Lord would drop a plumbline to measure how straight the Singapore Church is, I wonder what we’ll discover. Will we be found wanting? And if so, what areas do we need to align with His Word? What would we be commended for, or rebuked? The Bible speaks not just of the judgement of individuals, but churches, and cities as well. Matthew 11 speaks of The Day of Judgement, where whole cities will be judged. The shepherds of the city must be prepared, because we’ll be held accountable.
The Great Homecoming Party reveals the heart of God in Luke 15, showing that heaven rejoices when the lost return home. The prodigal son’s journey demonstrates repentance, restoration, and the Father’s extravagant grace that restores full sonship, not partial acceptance.
It all began with ‘Jesus wept’ – the shortest verse in the Bible – yet its meaning and impact are tremendous. Mary’s worship touched the heart of Jesus long before her perfume ever filled the room. Her story shows that true worship doesn’t stay hidden; it goes beyond ourselves – it moves God, transforms the atmosphere, and leaves a testimony heaven never forgets. Can your worship fill the room so others encounter Him through it?
From the Garden of Eden to the locked rooms of the disciples, the story of Scripture is of a God who keeps walking toward us — even when we hide, drift, or doubt. This message explores that quiet, often-forgotten thread running through the whole Bible: God has never asked for our speed or performance – only our presence. If you’ve been tired, distant, or unsure where you stand with Him, begin to see His nearness in a way you may have forgotten.
Before the Israelites crossed into the Promised Land, they were instructed to consecrate themselves in preparation for the new season. Consecration is the key to fulfilling God’s promises in our lives. What is the mark of consecration and how can we step from promise into our divine fulfilment?
When faith falters, courage fails, promises break, and we wonder if it's all over, God's divine grace still reaches. There's hope for every believer who has ever fallen but not been forsaken.
It's staggering that Jesus asked a total of 339 questions recorded in the four Gospels. He knew all the answers, yet focused much of His interaction with people by asking them questions. If the One who knew all things asked questions, shouldn't we be more curious? If we stop asking questions, we will find ourselves in the 'LAND OF SETTLE' and trust me, it's a dreary place.
When faced with challenges and crises, is our first response one of murmuring and complaining, or a prayer to God? 3 defining questions King Jehoshaphat prayed in a time of national crisis teaches us how we should pivot our prayers and whom we should direct our focus towards when things get tough.
The story of the ten lepers in Luke 17 is packed with layers of truth and hidden gems. It goes beyond healing and giving thanks. Between the cries of "Have mercy" and the words "Your faith has made you whole" unfolds a mystery of mercy, movement, and worship. Ten were healed, but only one discovered the secret beyond healing.
