Braylon Vega & Charlie Campbell have been a strong duo for the Artesia Bulldogs for the last two years. The Bulldogs took home the state championship last year and didn't lose one varsity player. This year, they are looking to put their team skills, chemistry, and hard work on display. Artesia High had only won two basketball state championships until last year's trophy came into the picture.
We discuss Braylon's transfer from Hobbs and the adjustments he made. Charlie covers all three sport seasons with football (two-time state champ), basketball (state champ), and baseball (state champ). It was great to hear from another two kids representing Eddy County well.

We are back in Albuquerque for another episode of All Sports Best with Dayne Pengelly! We get a chance to discuss his baseball journey from high school to NAIA to JUCO then the Division 1 level. The big righty has powerful stuff from the right side and the ability to literally build rockets after going to school for engineering.
Pengelly is one of the next big pro arms coming out of the Albuquerque Baseball Academy.

We were on location at Albuquerque Baseball Academy to interview Jacob Kmatz on his incredible pitching journey. Kmatz started in New Mexico at Sandia High School and quickly made a name for himself before playing Division 1 College Baseball at Oregon State. He was drafted in the 5th round of the MLB Draft to the Tampa Bay Rays.

Trevor Rogers had one of the best stretches of pro baseball the MLB has ever seen. He made the organization proud enough to award him with the Most Valuable Oriole Award and the fans definitely took notice! The Carlsbad native had a 1.81 ERA over 109.2 innings in 18 starts and regularly cashed in on quality starts (completing at least six innings and allow three earned runs or fewer.) He gave us insight on what it's like to pitch in Baltimore, a new deal that may be coming his way, the changes he made to become himself again, and much more.
