I think I may my right about the man I'm living with now.I asked him once jokingly, "you want to kill me, don't you?".........His reply was not what I had anticipated.His reply was:"not yet".........
I never understood why rape victims go to the school for protection. Education is a for-profit business, you can bet they're gonna sweep it under the rug. You go to the police, the "real" police, not campus police.
This is a survivor's episode? Fuck sakes, you don't "survive" from grief. Ridiculous.

Suffering from depression is not a choice, despite what this girl says. You can't just wake up and decide to not be depressed anymore. That's a really ignorant thing to say.

I love this episode and what Terra had to say about being a survivor. it's so important for people to understand what it's like to be triggered (a term that gets misused a lot). One thing I would mention about depression, however, is that it's not usually a choice you can just snap out of. Many people need medical help of some kind just to be strong enough to seek help. I'm glad that approach worked for her, but I wouldn't want people to think it works for most people that way.
