On the final episode of Dead Reign 4, our miscreant heroes find the final doctor who's research was used to launch Ultracure, the cure-all that affected the entire human population just before The Wave, and escort her to safety, where she can uncover the secrets of missing research, but nothing is as it seems.

The undead hordes within Chicago are drawing closer as the battle rages in the big city, though their numbers dwindle as the stacks of bodies tower higher and higher. Cletus, Markus, Wallace, and Walter find Moira, one of the last on their list of doctors whose research affected Ultra Cure, the possible sole ingredient to fueling the worldwide virus.

The Battle of Chicago continues as our group of misfit heroes tear through rotten undead flesh to their next target, a scientist named Chad.

The search for investigating Ultra Cure's involvement in the origins of The Wave leads our party further into the Battle of Chicago. After another skirmish with the forces of the undead, they're brought to Henry McCoy, someone with key information who worked at the company.

The crew continues to prove themselves to Brad Ashley, the icon of the frontier. After battle with the undead, they follow Homeless Jimothy's lead to another former Ultracure researcher.

Upon reaching the Benford Group's Parent Company to further investigate the origins of the Wave, the party comes across the world's largest concentration of Reapers, and their highly esteemed leader. They dedicate their lives to hunting zombies, and Cletus being a part of them, the group decides to join the Battle of Chicago against the Undead.

Marcus, Cletus, Wallace, and Walter investigate Benford Capital Partners, an investment group that's tied to the invention of Ultracure. Being in Chicago which has one of the most highest concentrations of zombies in the world, the crew must find a ferryman in order to avoid them, but it's never that easy.

In the fourth installment of our version of Palladium Games' "Dead Reign", the crew reunites once again to track down the fourth theory for what started humanity's extinction event known as "The Wave". This new theory begs the question: did the very cure-all pharmaceutical "Ultracure" itself cause the dead to rise again?
