Description
You built a good life. So why does it feel so darn un-magical? And how do you explore your witchiness when your life is so...normal?
Stay Magic is for the busy woman in the messy middle who's done everything "right," but is wondering if this is all there is? I'm Sara Walka of the Sisters Enchanted, and every week we drag the witch wound (that old fear of being too much, too visible, and too YOU) out of the rafters and into the light. Practical magic for a real, full life: tarot, astrology, shadow work, and soap box style pep talks. Welcome home, Enchanted Sister.

“How do you make everyday magic?” and “Are you really that optimistic?” are the two questions I get asked more than anything else. Turns out I can answer them as one question! In this episode I’m pulling back the curtain on high energy vs. low energy - and no, high doesn’t mean good and low doesn’t mean bad. It’s about the words you speak over your life, the people you let into your energetic field, and whether you’re arguing for your limitations or looking for the opportunity inside the labyrinth.I’m also saying the thing nobody wants to hear: staying in low energy is spiritual bypassing. Shifting your energy is the harder work. Stagnant water breeds mosquitoes, friends. You’ll hear:✨ The three phrases that instantly put me in a bubble (“it’s hard because…”, “the problem is…”, “he/she/it…”)✨ The labyrinth reframe and how to inventory your tools when something feels impossible✨ Why problems = opportunities (even when it’s annoying to hear)✨ My real-time story about my husband, a grocery order, and realizing it was a system problem, not a him problem✨ The “worst case, best case” method I use for everything from business finances to my daughter’s forgotten vacation clothes✨ Why you might need to change the average of your five people without ditching anyonePlus a peek at what’s coming in 2027: strengths-based Holistic Witchery cohorts and another community-written ritual book.🌙 Come hang out with us:Website: https://thesistersenchanted.com/Instagram: https://instagram.com/the_sisters_enchantedPodcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/37lNSDPfA6uUFxgUUzyTB9Stay magic, Enchanted Sister!
You’ll hear me say two things if you hang around The Sisters Enchanted long enough: witches create energy, we don’t respond to it. And life is the practice, you are the altar.Today we’re talking about what that second one actually means, and why it matters so much for the woman who gives and gives and gives. If you’re the one who walks into a room, reads everyone in it, and solves the problem nobody else sees, this episode is for you. That kind of capability has a cost: you stop treating yourself as a sacred space. You respond to everything coming at you instead of creating what happens next. And then you’re exhausted, a little resentful, and “self-care” has turned into chocolate and wine at the kitchen counter at 11pm.In this episode, I walk you through the four pillars of self-care from my book Magical Self-Care, and how to use them to tend yourself the way you’d tend an altar:🔮 Practical self-care: your money, your calendar, your home, and why time management is really energy management🔮 Physical self-care: adornment, movement, and pleasure in your body (yes, pleasure is self-care)🔮 Spiritual self-care: creating containers for connection when the moon doesn’t follow your Google calendar🔮 Relational self-care: how capable women train people not to give back, and how to rebalance the scalesI also share how I set up my week every Sunday, what’s in my “quest pack,” and why community is where the witch wound was formed and where it heals.Life is the practice. You are the altar. Let’s talk about how to actually live that way.📖 Magical Self-Care (the book): https://qrco.de/bh4PR9🌙 Enchanted Journey membership (includes the full Magical Self-Care course): https://signup.thesistersenchanted.com/EJ_July_2026🗓️ The Lunar Planner: 2027 COMING SOONFind everything we’ve got going on at The Sisters Enchanted: https://thesistersenchanted.com/Instagram: https://instagram.com/the_sisters_enchantedFacebook: https://facebook.com/thesistersenchantedPodcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/37lNSDPfA6uUFxgUUzyTB9I’m Sara, founder of The Sisters Enchanted, helping women to reclaim their time, energy, and self-trust with witchery since 2016. You can have a calendar packed Monday morning to Sunday night and feel on top of the world. You can also have wide-open weekends and still end every day face-down on the sofa, doom scrolling, with nothing left. So what gives? It’s not a time management problem. Every person, environment, and task in your life is either generating your aliveness or consuming it. Burnout happens when too much of your day lands in the “consuming” column, and you keep doing it anyway because you don’t want to seem ungrateful, disruptive, or dramatic. In this episode, I’m walking you through the one question I come back to every time I feel burnt out, the story of how I had MORE energy with a baby on my hip and two businesses than I did years later doing far less, and why “boundaries” don’t mean getting other people to behave. They mean protecting the thing only you can protect. What you’ll learn:▸ The difference between generative and consumptive energy (and how to spot each in your own week)▸ Why burnout and overwhelm come from a mismatch between your inner world and your outer world▸ The “neutral” reframe that takes the guilt out of wanting something different▸ How to tell when something that used to light you up has quietly started draining you▸ What boundaries actually protect (hint: it’s not your schedule)▸ Where to start if you keep abandoning your spiritual practice and forgetting yourselfGo through your calendar this week. What’s generating aliveness? What’s consuming it? That’s where this work begins.Everything we’re doing at The Sisters Enchanted:Website: https://thesistersenchanted.com/Instagram: https://instagram.com/the_sisters_enchantedFacebook: https://facebook.com/thesistersenchantedPodcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/37lNSDPfA6uUFxgUUzyTB9Stay magic, Enchanted Sister!
Libra is the sign of beauty, harmony, and balance. Gorgeous! It's also the sign that knows every time you've bitten your tongue at the dinner table, apologized for something that wasn't yours to apologize for, or watered down what you were about to say so nobody got uncomfortable. That's Libra's shadow, and for women it sounds a whole lot like the witch wound. The Libra New Moon lands on October 10, 2026, well into Libra season, with the Sun and Moon both in Libra. In this episode I walk through what that double Libra energy asks of us as we set intentions for a new lunar cycle, and I give you two questions to sit with:🌑 What does balance look like in my inner world?🌑 What does it look like in my outer world? Then we get meta: how do I balance those two? Because so often we keep the outside smooth by staying fragmented on the inside.I also tell the story autumn tells through the zodiac (Libra, then Scorpio, then Sagittarius) and why it looks exactly like the holidays with your family. And we pull out the Justice card for the part of balance nobody embroiders on a pillow: something always gets the short end of the stick. The good news? You get to choose what.🌿 WHAT YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH✦ Two journal questions for setting your Libra New Moon intention✦ How Libra's shadow shows up as over-apologizing, tolerating, and staying quiet✦ The autumn zodiac story and where you are in it right now✦ A simple way to work with the air element daily: choose what you listen to, read, and take in this cycle✦ What the Justice card teaches about balance, and how to pick what gets less of you on purpose✦ Why calling something in at the new moon always means letting something else go💬 TELL MEDo you have a feeling-based vision for this lunar cycle? How do you live a life that feels like magic when you're grieving? You stop forcing the silver lining and start asking where the grief is living in your energy. In this episode, I walk you through how grief shows up in your root, sacral, solar plexus, and heart chakras, and how to use that awareness to hold sorrow and joy at the same time.👉 Join us inside The Enchanted Journey: https://signup.thesistersenchanted.com/EJ_July_2026Grief isn't only about losing a person. It's the pet you lost, the job you thought you'd retire from, or the birth story that didn't go the way you dreamed. A recent Round Table conversation with our community on grief inspired this one, and I'm sharing a piece of my own story too. "Life is the practice" doesn't always feel easy or make sense. In this video, you'll learn:✨ Why the "small" losses still count as grief✨ How grief destabilizes your root chakra and makes you feel like the "different one"✨ Why your sacral chakra can make you feel guilty for experiencing pleasure while grieving✨ How the solar plexus keeps you hiding your grief so you don't seem weak or annoying✨ What self-love looks like in your heart chakra when grief hits like the Three of Swords✨ The one question I ask every time: "How do I want to feel?"✨ The difference between spiritual bypassing and integrating light and shadowQuick answers:Is it spiritual bypassing to look for the positive while grieving? Not always. Gratitude helps, but forcing it when it doesn't feel true keeps grief stuck. Check in with your energy first.Which chakras hold grief?Grief often shows up in the root (instability), sacral (guilt around pleasure), solar plexus (fear of being seen), and heart (self-love and worth).Do you ever stop grieving? We don't let go of grief. We grow with it and expand our capacity to carry it alongside joy.🔮 Stay connected with The Sisters EnchantedWebsite: https://thesistersenchanted.com/Podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/37lNSDPfA6uUFxgUUzyTB9Instagram: https://instagram.com/the_sisters_enchantedFacebook: https://facebook.com/thesistersenchantedStay magic, Enchanted Sister. 🌙
