Today we sit down with one of ACCRA Law's finest, Atty. George Aquino to talk about Cyber Libel and Fake News. We also touch on relevant topics of the rights of free speech vis-a-vis Cyber Libel and the dangers of, and remedies against, fake news spread through social media and other means. Mr. Aquino is a Partner of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department and is a Professor of Remedial Law at the Ateneo De Manila University School of Law. He has handled various litigation cases including libel and cyber libel cases, cases involving consumer protection and product liability, commercial disputes, white collar crimes and cases involving violation of laws under the anti-graft and corrupt practices act, in over 20 years as a practitioner.
