In this week's sermon, we begin a new Easter series focusing on what the cross reveals. This week we focus on what the cross reveals about us as people. We see our sinfulness and the necessity of God's plan for the cross. We need Jesus, so let's use this Easter season as a reminder of that and the sacrifice that he made for us.

In this week's sermon we look at Matthew 5:8 and what Jesus means by having a pure heart and what it means to see God. God gives us a pure heart when we accept and follow Him, but this can wax and wane. We want to do all that we can to maintain our purity of heart and see God.

In this week's sermon, we wrap up our series "Moving Forward" by looking at what it means to be in the presence of God. We discuss how we should walk with God and rely on him rather than trying to get him to fit our plans and desires. At the end of the day, if we're not walking in God's presence then we're going in the wrong direction.

In this week's sermon we continue our sermon series "Moving Forward" by looking at "The Cost." By that, we mean what are we willing to give up or pay in order to further God's kingdom? Discipleship isn't free, just as God's grace and mercy towards us wasn't free.

As we continue our series Moving Forward, we look this week at "The Why." We dig in to Luke 15:1-7 as well as Philippians 2:12-18 to see how we as the church should respond to those who don't know Jesus. As the parable of the lost sheep illustrates for us, we should intentionally seek those who don't know Jesus and share God's love with them. But in order to do this, we need to be a united and loving church that Paul describes in Philippians 2.

In this week's sermon, we look at how Jesus responds to interruptions. Rather than being frustrated by the interruption, Jesus sees the people involved and uses the interruption as ministry opportunities. This should be the example that we use for our own lives when things don't go according to plan. Whether is be an ice storm (thus why this week's format is different), sickness, someone in need, or whatever it may be, let us see the opportunity to spread the name, glory, and love of God through it.

In this week's sermon, we begin a new series entitled "Moving Forward." Our church family is taking some big steps in the near future, and we need to biblically examine how we best move forward. This week, we need to look at our past, present, and future in order to best gather our vision for what needs to be done.

In this week's sermon we stop to look at where we are as a church. We intentionally look at our history, our present, and our future. As a church we want to follow the Biblical model, and stopping to look at these three things helps us to do so as we move forward. Though different from our typical sermons, we hope and pray that seeing how hard we strive to be the Bride of Christ that God calls us to be shows you how great our God truly is.

In this week's sermon, we kick of the new year by looking at the fresh start that God gives us through Christ. While it would be nice to have a rewind button through life, that isn't how things work. So, God gives us the ability to repent of our sins and star fresh with Jesus' sacrifice and resurrection.

In this week's sermon, we discuss how we can respond to the birth and coming of Christ even after Christmas. We do this by looking at Mary and Joseph, Simeon, and Anna in the temple shortly after Jesus' birth. Our hope is to remain faithful followers of Christ year round and have that excitement of Christmas regardless of what the calendar says.

As we progress through the advent season we will stop and take a look at the theme of each week. This week we talk about peace and how Jesus is the Prince of Peace. Christmas should be a time in which we experience the most peace. However, it's typically a season in which we experience very little peace.

This week we start our 2025 Advent series by talking about hope. This week was also Lord's Supper, so the sermon is a bit shorter than normal. As we start the Christmas season, let the idea of hope really sink in and all that it means to drive our relationship with God.

During our season of Thanksgiving, we stop to look at what it means to live thankfully, rather than just being thankful because a holiday dictates it. We look at the book of Colossians to see how we can truly live out a life of thankfulness.
