MIGsy Film Club

After a year inside, we've returned to seeing movies in theaters (but still watch some at home). First, we break down where Cruella stands in the lineup of live-action Disney remakes/reimaginings. Then Josh details the flaws of F9 and how it manages to save the last 1/4 mile. Finally, we hit on why we couldn't finish In The Heights and instead watched Good on Paper. The movies are back! We are in the midst of MIGsy Award watching season and want to check out a couple of underrated movies from last year. We agree in our praise on one film but don't on the other. Then we go over the tight race of a few MIGsy categories. Who will sink, swim, or burn in this edition of the film club? Every year we have a slate of movies we watch for the holiday season separated out into tiers. We talk about our Christmas list and if these movies will get added or not? We also saw Happiest season and discuss it a little bit. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mindinthegutterpod/ Other Pods: Mind In the Gutter & Balls In the Gutter: A Fantasy Football Podcast

While isolating in Wyoming cabin we discuss a couple of comedies in An American Pickle and Planes, Trains & Automobiles. We also end up talking about The Invisible Man and a few others we've watched over the last few months. Also, we need more good Thanksgiving movies! Just in time for the holiday Josh and Christine watch the new Adam Sandler Netflix Original: Hubie Halloween. We decide if it's worth a watch for Halloween or as a movie in general. We also think we've cracked the Adam Sandler code and how he may be a secret genius when it comes to living life.
