Prayer is hard for most Christians. We get distracted. We get bored. We struggle to stay consistent. We shouldn’t be surprised or frustrated that praying is hard. But when we follow Jesus’ teaching on prayer, we can discover how to pray in a way that builds our relationship with God and changes the world.
The Christmas story is messier than we often think. And the messiest people in it aren’t who you would expect. But God wants messy people who are seeking him. This message is for you and your messy life.

We all want to find fulfillment. When Jesus was born, he brought fulfillment to God’s plan and promises. But he also brought fulfillment to individual people. When we discover Jesus’ place in God’s plan and our individual lives, we can find fulfillment.

We live distracted lives. When we try to follow God, accomplish something important, or make a life change, we are constantly distracted. Nehemiah faced three key distractions, which can help us understand how to stay focused on the good work in front of us.

In your life, you will have people who are opposite. You will have spiritual forces who attack you. Nehemiah shows us the keys to successfully overcoming opposition that we face.

When Nehemiah learned that the wall around Jerusalem was torn down, he was overcome with grief. How he responded set him up to become the solution to the problem he saw. Like Nehemiah, we can become the solution to the problem we feel most deeply in this world.

Joy can feel like an elusive goal--always just out of reach. But the Bible clearly teaches that Christians should remain in constant joy. What does that look like? And how do we find that joy and keep it?

Human sexuality is a controversial and passionate topic. The Bible addresses the topic of homosexuality and gives clear teaching on it. This message outlines what the Bible says and what it means for all of our lives.
The biblical teaching about women in ministry can be confusing. Some people have rejected the Bible for what they perceive as an anti-woman bias. But the Bible presents a different view of women and their role in the church that is pro-woman.
Hell is an uncomfortable concept for many people. But the Bible is clear that hell exists. When we understand what the Bible does and doesn't teach about hell, we can understand why hell is necessary.
