It's the middle of the night where Snarf and Daffy are, so they
maybe a bit dozey this week as they focus on a singer turned network
news man for decades, some accordion tunes for all and another visit to
the Limburger Lounge again, which sort goes with this week's insomnia
driven show trying to help them get to sleep.
It's time for our Halloween show for 2025. All the cheezified
frightfully good ghoulish aural delights we can find and put into 30
mins along with our hosts shenanigans of the haunted kind. Maybe we have
a graveyard smash this year?
Our hosts look back at some comedy greats from the 1950s as they
spotlight an album called Comedy Caravan, Daffy gets a little cringy
after hearing about the twisting of organs, and it's just incredible
that an old fav artist of CP pops by...giving them a reason to play that
song of his.
We revisit a time when saturday morning TV was both entertaining
and educational, did you know that cotton candy has a song? and The
Hand Man is back with an emotional message Snarf thinks is all aboit the
"Big D" but we all know Snarf isn't always right...right?
A children's music artists sings hippos and bellybuttons...some
classic rock songs without the classic rock sound, and an elvis
impersonator who daffy thinks really isn't one....some of these things
are not what they should be....
Take 5 guys with a desire to record an album for their
grandchildren and you got got our album profile this week as they're
singing (or sweatin) to the oldies, some polka music that may be
unintentionally suggestive (don't go there!) and we are blessed with the
Lord of all Radios this week in the Limburger Lounge.
Off the show goes to England, cheezily speaking, as we dig up
some UK cheeze, a high school band gets into the hustle of things, and a
celebrity slip up that, well......is just a wee bit o naughty...but
more cheezy then anything else.
Some songs from the "dirty 30s" of a down home rural sound with
the Hoosier Hot Shots, a couple tunes from the Nickelodeon crowd, and
The Brady Bunch cover a 70s song they shouldn't. Oh, by the way, Snarf
is dillusional and he thinks he has a cow in the van this week. We
wouldn't want to leave that detail out.
When you see a CD that is oddly titled "Fishin For Pickles" you
gotta pick it up..and we'll look at this week....classic disco sounds
without sounding disco and a quick trip down south with a different take
on a beach boys classic.
A look back at some stars of the house of mouse that seems
really cheezy today, groovy 1960s hit cheezy instrumentals and you know
about these things, you might have used one, but there's nothing like a
cheezy country song about them.
We look back on an album people would like to forget
about....seniors sing the oldies...and the Limburger Lounge is deceiving
and we feel ripped off of the loungy experience you come to expect.
You'll get over it eventually.
A one man band gets himself together to bring you some of his
cheezified sounds.....circus music from the evils of heck into your
brain, and a latin lover does things his way???? sure, i'll go with
that.
We take a look this week at a singing postman and remember the
postman always sings twice, a catbox beatles cover song that we unearth
from being buried, and a jazzed up version of the lone ranger theme
song
It's our own version of the Gong Show this week as Snarf feels
the show needs a musical gong, some fun material as we look at only
album parody legend Spike Jones ever had, and a steel band doing disco
and rock classics. It's a mess o' music that can only be cheezy.
We made it to 1100 1/2 hr weekly shows!!!! WOO HOO! We celebrate with songs brought to you by the letter G this week....
We're gonna make you an offer you might refuse but hope you
won't as we look at a comical side of "The Godfather" some well known
hits of the early 70s get an EZ listening makeover but really shouldn't
and the Limburger Lounge goes discoless with a disco song. Kapiche?
A look at an artist who takes cats sounds and makes songs out of
them, relaxing music to browse the supermarket by (never mind what they
actually play in the store) and one of the greatest motown singers
duets with one of TV greatest villians....there's a celebrity slip up
for ya.
With Canada in the news lately, we look at some of the cheezy
Canada songs we've played in the past, some victrola era age worn and
dusty instrumentals, and we couldn't afford the Beach Boys in the
Limburger Lounge, but the Great Imposters are the more budget conscious
choice.
A marching band plays songs from the "funny papers" some
classics from a jug band and a limburger lounge song that may not give
you good vibrations...come to think if it if you get good vibrations
from anything, I don't think we want to know too much about that.
Our hosts are back on the road just in time for summer and take a
look at the songs of the women of Star Trek, organ filled hawaiian
music and a chart topping cheezy of the Kung Fu kind
