In 1977, John Dearborn murdered his wife, his son, and his 89-year-old mother. He put their bodies in sleeping bags, dragged them into the living room, and then vanished without a trace. Thirteen years later, the Carroll sisters moved into the house right next door. Their part in this horror story is the reason why an advice show like this one is so necessary. In addition, Meg and MK are caught off guard by a live call from a distressed friend, the Sober Motorist. She's at a frat party when things go from fun and flirty to really freakin' scary. "Toh-boo always wants to be with me…" In this HOLIDAY SPECIAL, a young girl calls the Carroll Sisters with questions about her new toy, a Furby with abandonment issues. Meg talks about cursed objects. MK tries to define consciousness.
"Terking is herd…" Talking is hard. So is acting. The Carroll Sisters share some embarrassing bloopers and thank all of the friends, family members, and fans who have played pretend on Dear Murder Street so far this season.
"I think I saw her hurt someone…" As listeners continue to reach out to the Carroll Sisters about the mysterious (and immortal?) street magician, Mary Lou, new questions and concerns arise about her true nature. In this week's bonus episode, the caller is clearly hesitant to share her story.
"They took her, you see…" Meg goes behind MK's back to help a new caller. His wife was suddenly and inexplicably forced from their home and now nobody, not even the police, are willing to listen to him or answer any of his questions.
"Leave this kind of work to those who know what they're doing..." Meg and MK receive a cryptic warning from a new caller.
"I understand their curiosity…" Meg and MK hear from the current resident of the Murder House.
