Andrew talks about the spectacle this match will likely be but in no way a classically worked match. Andrew will break it down and talk about why he doesn't necessarily like that they're doing a second match. Plus, we'll talk about some of our favorite Sting moments, who Mercedes' first opponent might be in AEW, and more!

Andrew starts by recapping a newsworthy Smackdown from Friday night, including the improvement of Dominick Mysterio, Drew Mycintire's backstage segment with LA Knight, and more. The bigger story on SmackDown however was the return of the Rock as part of the Bloodline. He came out in a very loud shirt that brought memories of heel Rock from the Attitude Era and then cut a very heel promo with what appears to be a lot of hidden innuendos. Andrew gives his thoughts on what this means where the story is going and whether could it lead back to WrestleMania next year. He also talks about AEW Revolution takes a look at the current card and wonders if It's Swerve Strickland's time to take the title or does Samoa Joe retain it this time around. Also, Sting's last match is official as he and Darby Alin will face the Young Bucks. Plus, Bryan Danielson is facing Jun Akiyama on Collision, an upset at UFC 298, and AEW's attendance decline. This leads to a question of what the Rock does at Wrestlemania. Andrew gives his thoughts on the possibility of a tag match happening on night one. The other big story from the week was AEW announcing a dynamite special scheduled for Boston on March 13th called 'Big Business'. This is presumably the debut of Mercedes Mone in AEW. It's no surprise, like always another great Portland Wrestlecast. This isn't by any means meant to be disrespectful, in fact it's the exact opposite it's meant as a compliment. In my opinion Al Getz (who also does a great Podcast Charting the Territories) is the most interesting, coolest & absolutely without a shadow of a doubt the biggest nerd I've ever had the pleasure of listening to in my entire life and God blessing for it!
