We're talking about a new technique sweeping the fishing world this time on the Angler Quest Podcast with "Mr. Angler Quest", Brad Dupuie. Brad talks about the use of "Forward Facing Sonar", also called "Live Scope".  He describes how he's used that unit for different species of fish and why it can be a game changer for anglers. He also talks about the new Angler Quest Fish n Cruise FS, designed specifically for Live Scoping. The boat designer and hard core angler then has details on the new Leisure Quest line of boats and why his company continues to evolve and improve.  

We're looking into 2026 on this edition of the Angler Quest podcast with "Mr. Angler Quest", Brad Dupuie. Brad talks about two new models unveiled at the recent dealer show at Linwood Beach Marine.  Those include a smaller, inexpensive "Leisure Quest" line and a new T-Top model called the "Fish n Cruise". That center console boat is designed for a variety of fishing tactics, including the popular forward facing sonar (livescope).  The center benches allow for 360 degrees of fishing access and is expected to be very popular in many parts of the country. The "Leisure Quest" line features small boats designed primarily for inland lakes and rivers.   These inexpensive boats feature the top quality design and construction of the Angler Quest line. Brad also discusses his fishing and promotion plans for the upcoming fall season.

We're getting a good look at the new 2025 Angler Quest Pro Troll on this edition of the podcast as Mike Avery talks about his new boat with Brad Dupuie. Avery describes his experiences on the water with the new 8524 including ride, performance, the new work station...and fit and finish. The two long time anglers also discuss smaller design improvements like a new canvas material, better access to the running light and drains on the cup holders. The conversation also turns to Saginaw Bay walleye fishing and the upcoming Angler Quest Owners Tournament at the Linwood Beach Marina.      

We're talking with the man behind the boat this month on the Angler Quest podcast, "Mr. Angler Quest"...Brad Dupuie. Brad describes his experience on the water with the new design.  He say's it's more robust and solid with the ride and performance AQ is known for.   He talks about a couple of prototype items including bigger tubes and a "steer by wire" autopilot system that will likely be offered as an option on all models. The long time Saginaw Bay angler then goes into detail about his walleye trolling program and why he has confidence in spoons and jet divers.

We're kicking off the summertime fishing season on the Angler Quest podcast with Tom Block of Eye Got It Charters. Tom is a Saginaw Bay charter captain who targets walleye with his 8526 Pro Troll. The recent AQ convert talks about why he switched to an Angler Quest and the camaraderie of the Angler Quest Family. Tom describes planer board management and how he can run 8 boards off each side with minimal tangles.   He also talks about his love for "skinny water" fishing and why water color is so important. Block then talks about plastic vs live bait and Saginaw Bay fishing compared to Lake Erie.

He talks about how he uses his Pro Troll for Saginaw Bay walleye.  Scott describes why he put a full canvas enclosure on his boat, the importance of tube mainenance and why his boat is perfect for family fishing trips. Hand also talks about the "Angler Quest community" and the new models for 2025. He also describes his excitement about the company's new direction under "Mr. AnglerQuest", Brad Dupuie.

He describes the process of building prototype boats and how long it will take to get production models to dealers. "Mr. Angler Quest" also announces the year's AQ Owner's Tourney out of Linwood Beach Marina on Saginaw Bay.

This is a very special edition of the AQ podcast as "Mr. Angler Quest", Brad Dupuie announces a change in the direction of the company. Brad is starting a new company to produce the boats under a new name....Angler Quest Pontoons (with a U instead of a W).  He's going to concentrate specifically on fishing boats, namely the Pro Troll and Family Fish models for now. Dupuie talks about the reasons for making the move and the challenges in launching a new boat company. He also gives a timetable on when anglers can expect to see those new models on the water.

He talks about the differences in tournament fishing and producing a weekly television show. The new 2024 Angler Qwest models have been released and the company is moving in a slighlty different direction. Marketing Director Andrew St. Peter says the company is not abandoning it's fishing customers, but expanding the appeal of the popular pontoons.
