According to Kevin Harvick the act of taking out teammate Ty Gibbs has put Denny Hamlin in a precarious Playoff position with Hamlin wanting JGR management to establish ground rules for their drivers. Plus Ryan Blaney really wanted to get his hands on the winner's trophy at Loudon.

Having easily made the round one cut in the Cup Series Playoff Bubba Wallace confidence is at an all-time high. At Loudon apparently only way for Chris Buescher to be competitive is to have it rain and Ryan Blaney lets us in on his pregnant wife's craziest craving.
The championship chase brings out the best in Christopher Bell and his Joe Gibbs team. Counting Bristol they've now won a Playoff race three of the last four seasons. Plus Ross Chastain confident heading into the second round and Chase Briscoe on why he can't say "no" to a race fan.
With the extreme tire wear at Bristol the fans wound up loving the round one Cup Series cut-off and Christopher Bell was thrilled to finally win in Thunder Valley. His team owner Joe Gibbs set a record and unfortunately Josh Berry set a new mark for futility.
The Cup Series Playoff round one cut-off race at Bristol Motor Speedway makes Joey Logano and Christopher Bell nervous despite having a decent point cushion. Chase Elliott hoping to improve one spot from last year's runner-up in the Bass Pro Shops Night Race which Kyle Larson totally dominated.
Given his struggles at Bristol Motor Speedway it's a good thing Tyler Reddick has a nice cushion going into Saturday night's cut off race. Joey Logano has struggled there lately as well and Kyle Busch looking for a ninth win in Thunder Valley. Plus Ryan Blaney happy his baby boy will arrive during the off-season.
Tough to satisfy Austin Cindric is just above the cut line heading for the cut-off race at Bristol whcih William Byron is trying to treat business as usual. Plus Ryan Preece can't understand people's surprise and Denny Hamlin on Bill Murray wanting to talk at a very inconvenient time.
Even though he accepted Kyle Larson apology Ryan Blaney admits he's not about to forget getting spun out in St. Louis. Plus Christopher Bell gets hot on the cool down lap, Shane Van Gisbergen frustrated by Playoff performance and Denny Hamlin on why he's still wracking up wins at age 44.
In St. Louis at World Wide Technology Raceway Denny Hamlin checked off a number of boxes including a milestone win for Toyota and riling up the soldout crowd. Teammate Chase Briscoe is off to a great Playoff start too but Austin Cindric is on the bubble heading into the Bristol cut-off race.
Next up for round one in the Cup Series Playoff is race two at World Wide Technology Raceway and we hear from defending winner Austin Cindric. Plus Chase Elliott on Hendrick Motorsports struggles in St. Louis, Kyle Busch advice for teammate Austin Dillon and Joey Logano looking out the windshield.
Off to a strong start Bubba Wallace is ready to make a deep Playoff run as he heads to Gateway with Ryan Blaney. Plus Ty Gibbs says tough love over the radio between him and Chris Gabehart no big deal and Carson Hocevar on giving rapper IShowSpeed a ride he'll never forget.
If they remain "open teams" for the remainder of the season what NASCAR doesn't have to pay 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports could mean a windfall for the other teams but Ryan Preece insists he's not paying attention to the court battle. Michael McDowell says non-Playoff teams need keep up and Chase Briscoe explains why his son wound up crying over last year's Southern 500 win.
Laps led at Darlington put Chase Briscoe in the same conversation with two Hall of Famers and put a smile on the face of team owner Joe Gibbs. Southern 500 allowed Tyler Reddick to make up a lot of Playoff ground. Plus Denny Hamlin on it not being easy striving for a championship and dealing with a lawsuit.
Second straight Southern 500 victory was a breezy easy for Chase Briscoe who was joined in victory lane by his young son Brooks. Tyler Reddick was a runner-up again at Darlington and hear from the Legacy Motor Club teammates Erik Jones and John Hunter Nemechek who came home third and fourth.
The Cook Out Southern 500 opens up the Cup Series Playoff and going for the title Chase Briscoe is the defending winner. Also hear how Chase Elliott and Shane Van Gisbergen look at the 10-race championship chase. Plus Denny Hamlin has set a big end of year goal.
