I am reading the wonderful book as a live presentation, but offer this audio podcast of the recording.
I was reminded after a recent visit to the Cheddar Gorge of my visit to the Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company in Somerset, so thought I would share it here.  This recording features Paul Stoneman and myself in 2010.
On 4th August 2010 I broadcast this podcast Episode 1527 (I called it 4th July in the podcast!) and having listened to this old fun show I am thinking of bringing it back as a podcast. I would be interested to know what you think.

The Natter Pod

2019-03-0229:06

Mr Suggett and Mr Vobes huddle around their respective microphones and pick a topic to have a natter about. In this instant, they discuss reasons for the dwindling numbers of traditional clubs and societies and the gulf of ages between various groups. Thanks for listening.
Today I present a podcast from my archive. I am visiting HMS Warrior  in Portsmouth in the company of Andrew Bains, the ships archivist. To listen to more from this podcast you can download the other episodes below: http://files.vobes.com/media/warrior/hms-warrior-pt2.mp3 http://files.vobes.com/media/warrior/hms-warrior-pt3.mp3  HMS Warrior is a 40-gun steam-powered armoured frigate built for the  Royal Navy in 1859–1861. She was the name ship of the Warrior-class  ironclads. Warrior and her sister ship HMS Black Prince were the first  armour-plated, iron-hulled warships, and were built in response to  France's launching in 1859 of the first ocean-going ironclad warship,  the wooden-hulled Gloire. Warrior conducted a publicity tour of Great  Britain in 1863 and spent her active career with the Channel Squadron.  Obsolescent following the 1871 launching of the mastless and more  capable HMS Devastation, she was placed in reserve in 1875, and was  "paid off" – decommissioned – in 1883.
In today's Bald Explorer Podcast, I talk to the lovely Matthew Holdsworth about the videos and walks we do in Surrey, I venture into the archive and find some audio from 2010 when I took a journey across the Amerbley Wild Brooks with my friend Mr Pegram. The Book of the Week is  The New Sylva: A Discourse of Forest and Orchard Trees for the Twenty-First Century. You can see it here, https://amzn.to/2B4pYM1. Hope you enjoy the listen.
