High school coaches are no longer in control of recruiting. Haven't been in a long time. With social media and recruiting websites, the kids are in charge of the process.
The Alamo Bowl win will give Texas exactly as much as last year's Sugar Bowl win - none.
Will, the only 10 win team Texas beat this year was La Tech.

y'all are obviously not back. the schtick has worn thin and I suspect y'all know it. one person in particular.
And BTW, no one cared about the atmosphere around the stadium when they were winning 10 games a year. if you want a better atmosphere, just start winning again.
This sounds like a repeat of last year's show after the San Jose game. Texas played a shitty team and had to hang on to win. Why don't we wait until after the USC game before we jump to any conclusions.
