Grant is back with another fantastic episode and this one is a Ukraine/Russia special, where the Making Europe Grant's Again team, Grant, Kristyna Haklova and, standing in for Phil Micallef, Luke Ryan will give the low down on what exactly has been going on on day 163 (at time of recording) of the conflict.  In order to do this they are joined by a few hilarious guests: First up, Igor Gavrylov - our Ukrainian correspondent, here to give us exactly why the Russians have invaded, from the horses own mouth, as well as keeping us up to date on the sneaky tactics the Ukrainians have been using - up to and including Teenage Mutant Diseased Ducks. Next up we have "Becky" - our Totally Not Russian correspodent, here to let us know exactly how long she'd be in jail for back at home for appearing on this podcast, as well as just how pervasive Russian propaganda is. Finally we have Dominik Dabrowski - our Strategic correspondent, here to give us a way to end this conflict once and for all, as well as giving us an... ahem... interesting look at some Russian Nazis. Great content for an audio medium! This episode is hilarious, we had such a good time recording it, and we hope you enjoy it too! Get in touch with the show, suggest topics to cover or just say hi! Grant is back after an extended absence which will be explained in this weeks episode. He returns with Kristýna Haklová, our Bohemian Boss Bitch newsreader, and Phil Micallef, our fantastic One Man House Band ready for a USA special!  That's right, this week we're diving into all the things we might have missed in the last few months we've been off from the shining city on the hill/bottomless pit from whence the end will come (delete as appropriate). Joined to help us break down exactly what has been happening we have: Brian Lennon - our Second Amendment correspondent, here to break down exactly why he needs his freedom pipe on him all the time, and no, that's not what he calls his penis. We also have the hilarious Teaira Marque - our Historical Vaginas correspondent, here to fill us in on why the Handmaids Tale is both prophetic and historically accurate in the nightmare hellscape we find ourselves living in. Along for the ride, for the first time on the podcast is the incredible Julia Ruth - our Geek correspodent, who has the unenviable task of trying to bring some levity to this weeks show. Finally we have returning for possibly the last time before he returns to the USA for good, Sean Ríordáin - our Elections correspondent, here to give us the details on two very important elections coming up in two very unimportant states.  This episode is hilarious, we had such a good time recording it, and we hope you enjoy it too! Joined, as always, by our amazing American Anchor Katie Anderson and One Man House Band Phil Micallef, they're here to catch you up on all the daft stories of the last two weeks.  This week we also have a whole host of very special guests including: Alan Henderson - our conservative American correspondent, here to catch you up on everything that's been happening to him since his rather eventful day on January 6th 2021. Grant and the gang are back... to the future! Joined by future Phil Micallef, resistance fighter against God-King Boris Johnson in the ruins of the UK, as well as future Katie Anderson, the 47th President of the Remaining United States.  This week we have a special episode where we look ahead into 2022 to take a guess as what might be important to look at in the upcoming year. After all, January is almost over and there's been no insurrection, Australia isn't on fire and it seems, if only for a moment, like the world might not be ending.  Joined by special guests Sean Riordain - our Balkan correspondent, here to catch us up on the possible future for the Balkans, the Russian nesting doll of regions, where every time you think they're done, there's another country inside. Also we have present day Phil Micallef - our Death of Satire correspondent, not yet aware of his future greatness, to give us the low down on why satire might finally be dead, after we at the MEGA podcast have been doing our utmost to kick it while it's down. Finally, we have Erik Beckett - our Positivity correspondent, here to give us some good news for a change, and possibly hawk his new line of motivational speeches.  This episode is a bunch of fun, and legally different from Marvels "What If" series, for any lawyers out there. Also, it might be obvious that Grant had been quarantining alone due to having Covid, as this episode is a lot like a hilarious fever dream. We are also joined by Dominik Dabrowski - our Global correspondent, here to break down the biggest fuck up of the year, one which cost around $400 billion and meant that Grant can't get the latest Xbox. Finally we have our super secret special guest Britney Brightside (character played brilliantly by Belinda Filippelli), here to give us the low down on exactly what poor Britney Spears has been through since the mid 2000's to the end of her conservatorship this year. After being briefly cancelled by the Coronavirus, Grant and the gang are back (on Skype, sorry for the quality) for a very special 33rd episode focusing on, what else? The upcoming U.S. Election. Will it be "Trump 2.0 - The End of Elections", or will we see the democrats victorious with "Biden - That Hair Won't Sniff Itself". Grant is joined once again by Phil Micalef, our one man house band and the returning hero Katie Anderson, our Nebraska newsanchor extraordinaire. Also along with us this week is Phil Varney - our deep state correspondent, here to do a quick rundown of electoral math and prove his geek credentials, Sean Riordain - our Liberal American correspondent - here to talk about what happens after the election and how to survive it, Alan Henderson - our conservative American correspondent - here to big up his main man Trump, call us all libtards and describe things through food analogies, and finally Denis Nikolin, our athentic American correspondent who is definitely not shady at all.   Get in touch with the show, suggest topics to cover or just say hi! Grant is back, joined once again by the hilarious Kristýna Haklová as our stand in anchorwoman. First up is Brian Lennon - our Lifestyle correspondent, here to talk about all of the finer things in life and why they're actually awful, Katarina  - our Balkans correspondent, here to give us a super quick rundown of exactly what the hell is happening in Serbia and how to put retro crowd control techniques to good use, as well as being horrified by none other than Alan Henderson - our Conservative American correspondent, who had taken magic mushrooms right before the show and so was in a race against time to say the most awful things he could think of before they kicked in, with limited success.    Get in touch with the show, suggest topics to cover or just say hi! Email: makingeuropegrantsagain@gmail.com or follow us on Instagram and Twitter: @themegapodcast
Grant is back, minus both Phil and Katie this week, who are helping plan and organise what is sure to be Kanye's fabulously successful Presidential Campaign. However, don't worry, Kristýna Haklová is back to give us a run down on the news, although the cracks may be starting to show... Also joining us this week we have Phil Varney, our Deep State Correspondent, here to give us some good news about a few of the authoritarian rulers we have to put up with at the moment - Monika Naydenova, our Unrest correspondent, here to fill us in on what is happening with protests happening all over Eastern Europe, as well as giving Grant one of his famous mid show erections - and finally Victor Patrascan - our Lifestyle correspondent, here to fill us in on why feelings are stupid, dance is even dumber and why everyone you know can be replaced by a hand.   This episode is a shorter one this week, but we hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed recording it!   Get in touch with the show, suggest topics to cover or just say hi! The quarantine is over in the Czech Republic and to celebrate the gang is back with a very special live episode on the subject of the recent Black Lives Matter protests in the USA and around the world. Releasing a little later than usual due to technical issues, Grant Gallacher, our comedian host, is joined by Phil Micallef, our one man house band and Kristýna Haklová, our stand in anchor while Katie Anderson is away. Also guesting on the podcast this week is: Erik Beckett - our Trends correspondent, here to talk about the history of riots in the US and what that means for today, Sean Ríordáin - our Brooklyn correspondent, here to talk to us about defunding the police and a city that has already tried exactly that, a surprise mystery guest (voiced by Meredith Clarke) who is related to our Conservative American correspondent Alan Henderson and has similarly hilarious yet appalling views. In addition to this fantastic line up of comedians we also have Téaira Marque, a black activist who spoke beautifully at the recent BLM protests here in Prague and who was invited on the show to prevent us from whitewashing this issue in a famously homogeneously caucasian country. This episode is funny, fasinating and hopefully will give our listeners a greater understanding of exactly what the BLM movement is about, what it is not about and why you should never mess with Big Momma. We're talking to you Mr Putin.) and finally Radu Isac - our undercover Corona guy correspondent, a Romanian deep undercover, both metaphorically and literally, in the UK, here to give us his opinion on what this means for the global economy.
