She began her career in animation as a Lighting Artist for Disney Feature Animation on films such as Meet the Robinsons and Tangled. She then went on to work as a Senior Techincal Director with Weta Digital on films like Avatar, The Planet of the Apes films, and The Hobbit Trilogy. #AutodeskAd Ashleigh Crystal Hairston is an actor, writer and improviser from Seattle,Washington!  She received theatrical training from Howard University in Washington DC and now resides in Los Angeles, CA where she enjoys running, hiking and eating french fries.  She is currently a performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre on the Maude team, The New Deal!  You can catch them every 1st Wednesday of the month at 8:30p @UCB Sunset!  Ashleigh also trained at iO West Theatre in Hollywood, where she co-founded the award winning improv group Two Piece Chicken and performed on the sketch team DUKE for over two years.  Ashleigh is the voice of "Bask" in Marvel's Avengers Assemble: Black Panther's Quest (Disney XD), and the wild-eyed kid scientist "Wren" in Craig of the Creek (Cartoon Network).  In 2018, Ashleigh appeared in the acclaimed CBS Diversity Sketch Comedy Showcase as a writer and performer.  Her recent television credits include Modern Family (ABC), Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (CW), and Comedy Bang! Bang! (IFC). After a few years of bartending and waiting tables, he was able to move out to Burbank and get an animation internship, and then through a friend got his first production job at Bento Box on Bob's Burgers! He hasn't lost sight of his goal to write, and is invested in finding freelance animation writing jobs to tell his story and help kids through some of the challenges he faced growing up.
