This week, Da7e and Neil follow the trail of evil into the sewers to find a familiar and terrifying face as Welcome to Derry season one closes in on its climax. In The Calm [05:55], they ponder whether the show's lore is a trap, analyze some fresh new clown polygons, and discuss the geographical limitations of the entity's powers. Then in The Storm [01:10:50], your faithful hosts attempt to predict what new terrors await Dick Hallorann in the episodes to come and set the stage for what could be another classic HBO penultimate battle episode. Next week, Welcome to Derry deals with the fallout from the sewers and unravels the entity's plan further with episode 6, "In The Name of the Father." This week. Da7e and Neil are peering out the window with their telescopes and spying the terrors of It as Welcome to Derry reaches its season one midpoint. In The Calm [04:48], they discuss the reasons why there are so many Stephen King adaptations these days, add several new corners, and attempt to line up the geography of Derry with the boundaries of the Western Woods. Then in The Storm [01:10:42], your faithful hosts unleash a number of wild theories about what will happen in the back half of this season and beyond. They also do a deep dive into the midseason trailer with a particular interest in what the marketing isn't showing us from next week's episode. Next week, Welcome to Derry takes to a very familiar part of town with episode 5, titled "Neibolt Street." This week, Da7e and Neil return to Derry for shifting timelines, airborne shinings, and midnight bike rides as HBO's It series continues. In The Calm [04:48], they discuss the show's potential three season plan, unpack some questionable polygons, and show appreciation for the loser who writes romantic poems inside his shoes. Then in The Storm [01:02:20], Da7e explains his theory for what's really going on inside Juniper Hill and highlights what we can learn from the upcoming episode descriptions. Then Neil drops his theory for how this show might be building toward a mid-season "HBO moment." Next week, Welcome to Derry continues with episode 4, "The Great Swirling Apparatus of Our Planet's Function," which hopefully has more to do with turtles. Next week, Welcome to Derry drops its second episode a few days early on Halloween (Friday, 10/31), which means Storm of Spoilers may be back in your feeds a little early, as well. Also next week! Which means it's time to talk about It: Chapter Two (2019). In The Calm [04:14], they discuss the performances of the adult actors, the film's densely-packed and clunky plot, and highlight some deleted scenes from this movie that could prove to be important for the upcoming series. They also highlight the early work of one of the stars of Alien: Earth. Yeah, uh, if you all want to keep talking about Game of Thrones, then do it in it's own episode. Besides, you didn't talk about it enough the whole time it was running? I was so excited to see this podcast, and I literally ended up unsubscribing because it felt like it was hardly focused on Lost at all. The constant references & discussions regarding GOT honestly got annoying.

Quote of this episode (from a new listener): "No, I love Neil like a brother... You know, that is NOT incestuous... And I would never make him ride my murder pets." God bless America, that is phenomenal. I'm way too late to this game.
