Season 7Emily's Bridge Golden Brook Covered Bridge, Stowe VTInvestigation: March 30, 2019 A special shout out to Nicole George of SIS Paranormal and KerryTheriault from Spirit Trackers . We got some awesome Spirit Box activity/ responses, SLS Cam footage & more Let us know what you think of the investigation and any experiences you've had at haunted Emily's Bridgedown in the Spreaker comments. Located in Stowe Vermont, Gold Brook Bridge is not your ordinary covered bridge. This bridge is also known as "Emily's Bridge," due to the fact that it is supposedly haunted by a ghost named Emily. There are many stories of how Emily died on the bridge. One is she was supposed to elope with a lover who was meeting her at the bridge and when he didn't show she hung herself from the rafters. Another version of the legend also starts as a love story. Emily met a man who stole her heart and the couple made plans to marry. The wedding day arrived and Emily went to the church and the groom never arrived. So Emily took the family wagon in anger and sadness and drove the horses and carriage over the bank and onto the rocky brook below. Both the horses and Emily were killed in the accident. That's just a couple of the legends of 'Emily's Bridge' *There is no written historical evidence that Emily ever existed Some paranormal claims are: -Scratches on your car when you drive through the bridge -People get grabbed & scratched -Horse & buggy seen then vanishes -Windshields fog up and hand prints appear -Phantom music comes from under the bridge -Banging & scratching noises on your car when parked on the bridge -People also hear voices, girl screaming, strange noises, footsteps, male voice, sounds of things rubbing on the sides of the bridge, grunting sounds, crazy laughter, sobbing, woman or child saying 'help', kids shouting

Guests King Mike L, Joey Paranormal and Buddy T. King Mike L Childhood- The BEST Parents and grandparents I could ask for. I grew up in a neighborhood, family, and time, that seeing movies like Goodfellas would remind me of that time. I was told that I needed to push myself with my intelligence. I was in this L.E.A.P program that I was in with 4 other kids from the school that they said were smart. I quit because it made me miss 3rdrecess. After graduation, I attended 3 state colleges, while being in a touring band for 12 years. Associates in Arts. State of Corruption was the name, we released 3 CDs Back Room Sauce, The Great Hype Agenda, and Trifecta 3. We also have a greatest hits CD with some unreleased tracks. I transitioned into podcasting 5-6 years ago. Doing only sports, we gained subscribers, but I wanted to do more than just one show. So after planning it out, I wanted an “Art Bell” type show on Sunday. I loved Art Bell. So, in comes Buddy Money Thayer. Since then, we have done the Paranormal show for over 2 years and have added 5 more Paranormal shows to our lineup. I have around 112 beats or podcast intro themes made, (All on SoundCloud), and we won Best Writing Award for a short film we did last summer. I also wrote a book available on amazon, it’s called From Hell to Heaven. I love to talk. To have conversations. I love to learn and I enjoy being funny. I just want to make it easier for the Paranormal scene to connect, but more importantly, connect in the right way. Global proof is nothing compared to hearing someone’s personal story and getting that chill when you can tell that person is being honest. www.legitpodcasts.comBuddy Thayer Began experiencing things he couldn't explain or understand from a young age, as Buddy grew into an adult these experiences got more profound and propelled him into a quest to know more. Buddy founded Ocean State Paranormal in 2012 to aid others in their struggle to understand Paranormal phenomena and help himself to experience and potentially understanding more. In 2021 when offered to do an Art Bell like show by the King Mike L, Buddy agreed as long as he could have 5 minutes at the begining of each show to highlight a delicious local craft beer, and satisfy his second passion, craft beer. Buddy also actively volunteers with organizations like the Varnum Memorial Armory and Nathaniel Greene Homestead to support local RI History and its preservation. All investigative research is done free of charge and we take great pleasure in aiding others through difficult times. Buddy currently works full-time as a mental health case worker in school full time perusing a degree in Psychology. Joey Paranormal Raised in the Ghost Hunters generation,Joey grew up watching shows like Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures that first attracted his interest into investigation.
