What it's All About:In this episode, we explore the Covenant of the Goddess (CoG), a cross-traditional Wiccan organization dedicated to fostering cooperation and unity among witches. With over one hundred affiliated covens and congregations, CoG provides a vital platform for solitary Wiccan practitioners to come together.CoG's primary mission is to secure legal protections for witches, much like those enjoyed by members of other religions. Member covens typically focus on the veneration of the Goddess and the Old Gods or solely the Goddess, following common Wiccan practices. Notably, CoG operates through a consensus-based decision-making process, ensuring autonomy for all its members. Don't forget to subscribe and leave a review if you enjoy the show. Together, we'll keep the spirit of unity and magic alive. What it's All About: This is nothing against all the metaphysical or pagan stores, but more towards the big brand stores (Both online and off) that don't understand the meaning behind the witchy stuff that they sell. This is something new as Paganism grows in popularity. I came about this topic when searching for a niche in my soon to be a freelancing business. Plus when I was on a Pagan Zoom meeting, someone mentioned something that got my attention. I will also be talking about the portrayal of witches in popular culture. What It's All About First of all, sorry for the low monotone voice on the podcast. The reason was that this was my second attempt at recording at 2 a.m. The first attempt did not go too well because Adobe Audition needed to be updated. Other than that, You might think that Buddhism has nothing to do with Paganism. But it does. Plus there are Pagans out there that also practice Buddhism or parts of it. I remember messaging with one Zen Pagan about a very controversial symbol a few years ago. That was an insightful and delightful conversation. There are ways to incorporate some Buddhist practices into your path. I'll explain more in the show. The Spirit Guide of the Week is Avalokitesvara and the dream symbol is Key. Songs Feature: 1. Pagan Activism Episode

Pagan Activism Episode

2020-08-0143:30

What It's All About: I choose the above picture because Activism is more than just Black Lives Matter or against Racism. In fact Paganism and Activism go hand in hand. How you might ask? Well the root word for Pagan is from the country side. That means that we worship the earth. Otherwise, we are tree huggers. I don't think that I have ever hugged a tree, but I touched one that communicated with me in a strange way. We don't just want to save the environment, but we also want to protect all the wild animals that live in the forest, the sea or the dessert. I'm an animal lover myself. But Pagan Activism is not limited to the Environment, Animal Rights, or getting rid of White Supremacists. There are feminists, some of Dianic, who are still fighting for women's rights. There are LGBTQ Pagans who are still fighting their own battles for their rights. The Spirit Guide of the Week is Medusa and the Dream Symbol is Animals. Songs Feature: 1.
