Tarquinius Priscus

Richard Burton in Hamlet, filmed live production from New York, 1964. Burton's performance is definitely worthy of mention when taking about best Hamlets ever.

In the episode about sex in the sonnets no alternative explanation is given to why Oxford would write in such language to a young nobleman but not be homosexual. Surely the panelists are aware of the theory that Southampton could have been Oxford's secret son? There are several circumstances that reinforce this theory, explored in several works, not the least in the book Shakespeare's Lost Kingdom by Charles Beauclerk.
