In this heartfelt and faith-filled episode, Janae gets honest about the guilt women feel when their dreams stretch beyond marriage and motherhood. Culture says a “good woman” keeps quiet and small—but God designed women to build, lead, and dream big.Janae shares her own journey of trying to shrink herself to fit a version of “wife and mother” that left her depressed and disconnected from purpose. Through scripture, laughter, and real-life reflection, she reminds listeners that ambition doesn’t cancel love—it enhances it. Whether you’re a married mama balancing goals or a single mother fighting to keep a vision alive, this episode will help you reclaim permission to want more.💡 Key TakeawaysGod-given dreams don’t threaten family—they strengthen it.Submission never meant erasing yourself. It’s holy to build your own purpose while nurturing those you love.✨ Scriptures ReferencedProverbs 31, Galatians 5:1, Jeremiah 29:11

On one hand, the freedom to make all the decisions — no debates, no compromises. On the other hand? The anxiety of knowing every choice falls squarely on your shoulders. From picking schools and discipline strategies to Googling “gentle parenting” while hiding in the bathroom, we’re talking about the wins, the breakdowns, and the hilarious in-between.Pull up a seat on the red couch, pour a glass of wine (or juice box if that’s your season), and let’s unpack the beauty and chaos of being the boss of our parenting lives — even when we wish someone else would just make the dang snack decision.

Today Janae is going to talk about how to get rid of distractions so you can effectively implement change in your life. Your brain can successfully focus on one thing at a time so when you try two things or more at once, your brain lacks the capacity to perform the tasks successfully. David Meyer suggests that productivity can be reduced by as much as 40 percent through the mental process created when switching objectives (Rubinstein, Evans, and Meyer; 2001). Get rid of the distractions and become an agent of change.
In this episode, I am solo giving my strategy for implementing change in your life. Check this episode and more about how to start the positive change you want to see in your life.
