My very first podcast was based on The Impostor Syndrome. It is a deeply devastating frame of mind that tells you, you are a fake and a fraud, even if you are a high achiever. That you will be “found out” by your peers and contemporaries. In this episode I cover 5 tips on overcoming your belief that your are a failure and you will be discovered as a fake. Coaches are so hard on themselves, especially those who are perfectionists or A type personalities. We think we are frauds, fakes, or imposters for many reasons. Sometimes we feel our lives aren’t perfect, so who are we to coach anyone at all. There are those coaches who feel their business isn’t profitable yet or consistently bringing in clients, and they don’t feel like “real coaches”. I personally didn’t feel I could confidently call myself a coach, until I signed up for training to receive my certification. If this sounds familiar, join the club!
