Description
Welcome to the Energy In Motion podcast with your hosts, Kelsey Law and Ana Ayora. Energy In Motion is, first and foremost, an artist community. We started Energy In Motion with the passion and deep desire to initiate a conversation that unites artists, gives them a voice, and creates grounds for collaborating and connecting. For us, supporting and preserving the artists’ voice, journey, and spirit is not only a deep passion but a priority. Artists move us, inspire us, change us. They allow us to create space for the places within ourselves that we’ve left undiscovered, unexplored. So as we peak into these individual artists’ world, on behalf of Energy In Motion we hope you find these intimate conversations as heart opening and mind shifting as we did!

In this episode, Ana Ayora and Kelsey Law, founders and hosts of the Energy In Motion podcast open up about their journey to podcasting and all things art. Hosted by Dimphy Janse.
Tom Pelphery is an actor known for his roles in Banshee, Iron Fist, Ozark, and the much anticipated Mank. Although his resume is impressive, we were moved by this candid and vulnerable conversation about how sobriety, expansion, and growth as a human has breathed life into his art as an actor.
With an artistic out of the box approach, Andrew Kovacs reflects his passion project with the designs and inspirations he shares through @archiveofaffinities. His art is inspired by creating innovative designs that bring people together and create a memorable experience with the mundane structures we take for granted.
We traveled to Nashville to sit down with George Shingleton and discuss life in the country music industry. Our first live performance on our podcast was an honor and George’s stories find their way into every song and into our heart. He speaks so lovingly of his wife, the woman who saw his talent and helped push him to pursue his dreams of being a singer/songwriter.
Tammy Tavares left us in tears; tears from laughter and tears from her ability to connect seamlessly to the heart of her light and darkness alike. She openly and vulnerably shares her journey to finding her own voice through the stage, and the immense healing, liberation, and self-empowerment that has come from the experience. The best is yet to come for this raw, courageous woman who is unapologetically herself while encouraging others to be the same. We can’t wait to see her one woman show!
As a successful touring musician, Gene Miller loves to talk about his spiritual adventure to deepen and challenge himself as a musician and lead singer. He is honest about his struggles and vulnerabilities as he continues through life as an artist opening the conversation to what it takes to truly create. Continually pushing himself into other mediums such as painting, songwriting, and acting, Gene steps out of his comfort zone as a guitarist to further his art and heart.
Emma Lahana, is an actress, ballerina and vegan activist. In our time together she shares her experience of working on the Marvel hit show, Cloak and Dagger, while also finding the courage to say no without fear. She connects to the artist within her through dance and animal activism. Her whip smart banter is refreshing and we are excited to share this fun interview with you.
In Bradford's interview, he shares his journey into the intricate world of lighting, which drove him to discover his passion for magic and how he brought that magic into his work environment. You can currently experience his work on the CW’s "In The Dark".

She is a savvy young entrepreneur and is passionate about using her career as a means to educate and empower other photographers and artists alike. The joy and generosity she brings into this interview is lovely and truly contagious. We can almost imagine what it must feel like to be the subject of her lens, her art, her love.
Nina Klein paints women’s bodies but not in the way we are used to seeing them portrayed. She uses her art as a means to tell the story of a woman without the perceptions of women from the past. Enjoy this conversation with a bold female who has managed to remain unfazed by the opinions of others. She inspired us to find an untainted and clear vision for our own creation.
D’Ara Nazaryan grew up the daughter of an artist making her personal transition into art organically, seamlessly, and natural. D’Ara thrives in taking risks in all aspects of her life, leaving no space for regret, gently and courageously leaving no stone unturned on her path. As she continues to evolve within, her expansion becomes evident within her imagination and creative work. We hope this interview inspires you to take a risk and follow the path of your own creative journeys.
Lamonte Goode is the founder and creator of Cyberyoga and Neosutras. We encountered his work and we were left with utter amazement. Sitting down with him to talk all things movement, spiritual growth, and vulnerability was motivating. Lamonte uses his dance, choreography, and body as a vehicle of transformation within the internal confines of his human existence, graciously shape shifting his expansion on every level. As he dives into the unknown crevices of himself, he guides those that follow and work with him to do the same. His life’s purpose is to inspire and we hope this conversation with him brings exactly that.
At the age of 13, Draco became a member of the international boy band, Menudo. Since then he has not only toured the world as a solo Grammy winning artist but is also a two time cancer survivor who has now built a foundation benefiting stem cell research. In our time together, we lived vicariously through Draco’s stories from inside the world of the music industry to picking lemons barefoot on his farm, Hacienda Horizonte, in Puerto Rico.
Genevieve grew up in the artist community, Esalen. Entrenched in an artist way from the very beginning of life, she seemed to embody the soul of a mystic and she unapologetically living an intentional life, which made our conversation subtly powerful.

Marisa Echeverria is an actress, writer, producer and mother. She’s passionate about bringing consciousness to children’s narratives as a means to empower girls around the world by shifting the structures and norms we as a society teach them, one story at a time.
