This is Bags of Action. The podcast is devoted to action movies, both old and new, but all of them awesome! In this episode, Steve returns and together with Pete they discuss the 1986 Stallone movie, Cobra. Steve has never seen this film before, but Pete is a veteran, having now seen it three times. The film was adapted from a novel and the screenplay written by Stallone. There are quite a few familiar faces in this film, including Brigitte Nielson, in an early role, Andrew Robinson, and Brian Thompson, the man who has been in practically every SFF film and TV show from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, to Alien Nation, to Star Trek, to The Terminator, to Charmed to The X-Files. If you would like to get in touch you can join in the discussion of all things related to action movies over on the Facebook Group or you can followBags of Action on Twitter @BagsofAction. You can also email us at bagsofaction [at] gmail [dot] com or you could leave us a review on iTunes.

This is Bags of Action. The podcast is devoted to action movies, both old and new, but all of them awesome! In this episode, Scott Grandison (Comic Book Outsiders, Crash Landing) is standing in for Steve to talk about the James Cameron classic, Aliens. Shockingly Pete has never seen it before, so you get to find out what he thought of it first time around and compare that to Scott's opinion of a film he knows inside and out. Next month Steve returns to the hot seat and he'll also be experiencing a film that most people would assume he's already seen. Listen to the end of the show to find out what that is. If you would like to get in touch you can join in the discussion of all things related to action movies over on the Facebook Group or you can followBags of Action on Twitter @BagsofAction. Welcome to Comic Book Outsiders, a comic book podcast dedicated to bringing you the very best hidden gems from the worlds of comic books, films, TV and everything else. This episode is our 175th, so we decided to do something a bit different. Normally we plan the episode in advance, make notes and have different sections planned out. This episode we did nothing. We did no planning, we made no notes at all. We also invited onto the show a special co-host, Barry Nugent, from Geek Syndicate. We let the conversation flow where it wants and it turned out to be an interesting three way discussion about a whole host of different topics. If you would like to support the show please consider leaving us an iTunes review or visiting the Comic Book Outsiders website at www.comicbookoutsiders.co for more information all of the other ways you can support us, plus links to the other podcasts on the network.
After nearly nine years of podcasting together the lads celebrate their 250th episode. They also celebrate the small fact that in those almost nine years they only tried to kill each other twice. No, no that other time doesn't count that was only a flesh wound. Anyhoo on with the show! First up big, big thanks to the ladies of Anime Kei and the team at the 86th floor for providing this episode's intro. Now go and check out their epic musical recaps like Game of Thrones. News Dave briefly chats about some Arrow casting that is personal to him. The Han Solo spin off film is discussed and this time it's the lads who shoot first. Monts and Nuge talk about their panels at the upcoming Nine Worlds Convention. Week that was Killjoys Dark Matter Original Sin iZombie Now they have been using it for a little while the guys give their thoughts on Marvel Unlimited. Main The lads read out some listerner emails. Big thanks again to everyone who has stuck with us and has enjoyed the show.
This is Bags of Action. The podcast is devoted to action movies, both old and new, but all of them awesome! In this episode, Gavin Jones (Sidekickcast) is standing in for Steve for a fan film special.  Pete and Gav discuss Predator: Dark Ages and Kung Fury, two recently crowd funded films that are now available on youtube. Each film is about thirty minutes long and the guys decided to rewatch them as they recorded the show together and in person, which gives the episode a somewhat unusual feel. How do these shorter, labour of loves compare to bigger full length films?  Listen out for a shock revelation from Pete about a film he's never seen, he'll be rectifying that next month for the good of the show!  If you would like to get in touch you can join in the discussion of all things related to action movies over on the Facebook Group or you can follow Bags of Action on Twitter @BagsofAction. You can also email us at bagsofaction [at] gmail [dot] com or you could leave us a review on iTunes.

This is Bags of Action. The podcast is devoted to action movies, both old and new, but all of them awesome! In this episode, we discuss the 2010 film Salt, starring Angelina Jolie. This is the second time both Steve and Pete have watched the film but they've both forgotten various bits so there are surprises along the way for them. The film also stars Liev Shreiber, Chiwetel Ejiofor and even a brief appearance by the awesome Andre Braugher. For the next couple of episodes there's going to be a bit of a change to the show, but you will have to listen for the details, but we will be continuing on our regular monthly schedule.
