We are officially back for good. Listen & enjoy the stupidity that is 2 Dads 1 Dutt.
We are back & better than ever. This week we stick to our bread & butter which is Shop Talk, WABs, ending off with Heres the Thing. We dive into things involving the gym, abbreviations & the younger generations slang is getting out of hand, traumatic movie experience, dogs on the verge of dying, sweaty crotches, babies being born, post Malones new album, Disney ruining another movie, & people who send the "call me" text.
This episode we continue with bringing back our beloved shop talk, this time about another word/phrase being "cancelled", old people not understanding the brightness levels of their phones, and Apple maybe being the best marketers of all-time. Our WABs (worst and best) get semi-serious this week and a tad personal. Here's the Thing this time around is whether or not having a "usual" drink in a bar is allowed to be a regular everyday drink.
We are back for the 4th of July with maybe our best episode to date. Starting over with a little Which is Worse and then the surprise segment of the day is SHOP TALK and a deeper dive into AIRPORT SHOP TALK. We visit our WABs (worst and best) of the week and end with our Here's the Thing's.
We are back continuing our bi-weekly schedule and giving you a fully loaded episode. This week starts off with an Idea of the Week from Trav Dad that gets the ball rolling early. Next we do our weekly WABs (worst and best), talking fathers day, kids being sick, terrible drivers, when your friend tells a great joke, and most notably... The Flash is not a bad movie. Heres the Thing's of the this week: Old folks and technology, appreciating sports, society and the job market is at an all-time low.
After a month hiatus, the holy trinity is back. Rejuvenated after a some time away & ready to dive right back into the swing of things. Starting with a Random Thought of the Day about dogs, our WABs (worsts and bests) about Paleo Diets, missing get togethers, etc. Ending on our round of Here's the Things for the week. Plus, soon there will be exclusively a movie podcast from 2D1D
This week we are back to our lighthearted content. Starting off with our weekly updates of the worst and best for each of us (WAB's) & then we discuss our round table "Here's the Thing" topic's-- Leaving your friends on a guys trip for a chick, fighting with giant corporations about your monthly bills, is there a difference between someone having an ass or having a butt.
We are officially back at the movies. This time we revisit one of the greatest action movies of recent memory, John Wick. With the 4th & final installment out in theaters, it only made sense to go watch the one that kickstarted it all. We go over the basis of how John Wick came to be & the bizarre come-up stories from both directors. Cover the budget/box office side & how Keanu Reeves may have needed this movie more than we realize for his legacy. We do our 2D1D movie categories: Pull It Up On YouTube, The Milner Moment, Bizarro Jerry World, You Should Be Furious, Worst/Best of the movie. Plus, Dutt & Sker Dad add 2 unique categories for this particular movie.
For this episode we start off with a little sex gender question of the week from Trav Dad. Then we move into the WABs (worst and best) of our weeks where Trav Dad took an abnormal amount of bad beats in one week & finish off with our HTT's aka Heres the Things.
We did it. 100 episodes officially under our belts. This one starts out with one of the greatest movie blooper quotes of all-time, a rendition of the RENT theme song,& a fun fact about Trav Dads name. Then we move into our WABs (worst and best) of the week, do a special edition "Story Time" for the 100th episode, bring back the Hot Take of the week that doubles as a Business Idea, finally finishing up with 2 Heres the Things from Sker Dad and Dutt about a simple bathroom rule & an unlikely scenario from the show New Girl.
BIG DEBATE ALERT-- who would've thought the episode before 100 would turn into such a heated debate. We start off with 2 gentlemen's bets made between the 3 of us. Then our weekly WABS (worst and best) which gets a little sentimental. To end things this week for our Here's the Thing: it all starts over Trav Dad having the thought about going back to reading the daily newspaper + time being one of the worlds weirdest constructs.
First week back to the regularly scheduled program after conspiracy series. Before we start, Trav Dad has a new theory to add to his list about cash/currency. Next we do our weekly WABs (worst and best) of the week prior. Then our newer segment, Heres the Thing-- featuring a common cliché corporate saying & life as you get older.
This week concludes our conspiracy theory saga, but before we dive in to our final topics we do a question of the day brought to you by a lyrical poet of the 21st century Young Jeezy. Next is our WABs of the week (worst and best), finally we dive into the final conspiracies: the Train Derailments, 9/11, & finishing up with the Flat Earth Theory.
Part 2 of our Conspiracy Theory this week is taking a deeper dive into 3 big topics-- whether or not we actually landed on the moon, UFO's, and Aliens. First, we recap a little from last week, do our weekly WAB's (worst and best) and then dive into all the conspiracy talk.
This week is a special one for a few reasons. We have Dutt's older brother return as a guest and help us get into our next big topic: Conspiracy Theories. But first we start off with a little rant about everyone complaining about Netlflix and sharing passwords. Then we do our weekly WABs (worst and best) before finally diving into the never-ending rabbit hole that is conspiracy theories. This week we cover just the basis of who (in theory) is in charge of said conspiracies and also the Titanic.
Tensions are higher than normal going into this episode as we try out a new intro for the podcast. First we start off with a lot of apologies for last week and not knowing the true origin of Tinder and that folding paper actually gets you to the moon. After our weekly WAB's (worst and best) we get into The Bachelor, Adults Fighting Kids, Crocs are Cooler than Sandals, and Cussing on TV.
This is our first week post Draft Season. We start off by congratulating Dutt for winning overall and discuss Trav Dad having to pay the price by shaving down to a mustache. Then we do our WABs (worst and best) of our past week before we move into the new weekly dose of "Here's the Thing". Buckle up, because the pod is only going to get weirder from here Offspringer's.
For the final week of draft season we are doing all things that start with the letter "B". Before we get to it, we debate a new Theory from Trav Dad and then get into a little Shop Talk. Go over our WABs (worst and best) from the past week, then we get into the final draft to determine who has to shave their face down to a mustache. Top 3 things that start with the letter "B".
This episode is our closeout on the 2nd season of GIRTHY Football. We discuss what the future holds for a lot of the teams with high draft picks going into next year, discuss the winners and losers of the season, what awards we should hand out to players and coaches, what we want to do next year in terms of the weekly bets we do.
