This is where I, Drew Clayborn, am my most authentic self. Giving a therapeutic take on my perspective of living life with a high level complete spinal cord injury. Sometimes I have guests, sometimes I don't.

Me and Ryann (@Chronically_Ry) sit and chat sexuality, gender vs sex, and much more for pride month🏳️🌈 I ask her to educate me on several topics because we all have so much to gain from listening and learning from others. There’s nothing wrong with asking questions so that you may grow in the future.
My dad joins me in this special episode of Excuse My Language, But… to discuss some of the heartbreaking statistical realities of SCI and how the chips are stacked against us. We get into detail about lifetime costs, life expectancy, rarity, causes of death, and more.
I detail why I was in my feels on my life day last week. I talk about my new approach towards my recovery and the magnitude of it. I also talk about what it feels like to be paralyzed and how I have to let that part of me go if I’m ever going to walk again.
In this week’s episode me and one of my favorite people in the world, @katielivesfreely, speak up about some of the recent travesties happening in health care and the attack on private duty nursing
Director, Producer, and Writer of Take A Look At This Heart joins me to breakdown how this incredible movie came to be. Along with discussing the emotional toll it took on him putting it all together.
Me and @livingwithClaireity have almost two podcasts because halfway through we say our goodbyes and then we continue to talk for another 30 minutes haha. We joke we laugh we have fun together🤗
Me and Sean Costello talk about the power of self belief
This is the final step of my closure, reclaimed vulnerability and authenticity. In the second part of my extremely personal podcasts I explain some of the underlying messages from last week’s episode. If you haven’t listened to last week’s episode, you should go back and listen to where I read to you a fictional yet 100% true story about how I fell in love and was planning a life with a married woman. Not saying I’m proud of it, but I needed to tell my story so that I could let go, move forward, and continue giving my authentic self to others
Everyone I ask to be on the pod I preface them with, "I like to have real conversations with awesome people.” That’s exactly what this was. Down to earth and heartfelt realism with Zack Ruhl (@pitbullruhl)

Can’t begin to tell you how happy this conversation made me. It gave me so much hope that I’ll be able to find love one day, not in spite of my disability, but truly for who I am. Brooke (@honesttoquad) and Elena (@elena.pauly) are the co-creators of the organization WAGS of SCI, a support group for wives and girlfriends of individuals with spinal cord injuries and they’re absolutely amazing!

I’m absolutely honored to have my friends Alyssa and Jimmy (@wheel.life.in.the.wheel.world) on one of their first podcasts together! They met while online dating and got married a year ago. Such a beautiful couple and amazing story of love 💕

All of us with disabilities find ourselves in weird situations sometimes, but I feel like no one more than Ryann Kress!! Neither of us could pronounce her condition but it causes her entire body to be extremely elastic. Skin, bones, joints, all extremely flexible and stretchy and she shared some funny stories with me.
At what lengths would you seek refuge of loneliness, isolation, and seclusion? Me and my buddy Blake (https://www.thrivingaftersci.com) have a light, fun, real and authentic conversation about our experience and struggles battling these realities being men with spinal cord injuries

Get ready to hear some things you've never heard before. Instead of blocking, ignoring, or reporting, I decided to have a conversation with someone dropping in my DMs and a LOT came from it. Positives, negatives, and a ton of holy sh*t did he really just say that??

It’s easy to see the beauty in life but it can be difficult to see the beautiful side of death. I tried to give the best take I can on such a difficult topic. I’ve had multiple scary moments and I wanted to give my perspective. Future pods will be much more light hearted I’m sure.

This episode is incredible. Me and Ziad Kassab (@abudanny) talk about how him and his siblings grew up improvising through life with a brother with a spinal cord injury. He breaks down how he's gotten to where he is as far as an entrepreneur of seven businesses, and what his aspirations are for the DMAN Foundation. Biggest message I took away was just how capable we all are of creating something that we can look at and call our own. The beauty of doing can surprise you, giving you a strength you might not have thought was there. so stop, collaborate and listen to these positive, encouraging, and motivational speakings.
I had an awesome conversation with Laura Grace Beck (@anhonestquad) and her husband Jacob (@becksplorers). We talked about drinking and having fun, how you go about puking if you're in a chair, what being active outdoors entails, and why keeping your body healthy is so crucial.
