Coooeee, Adventurers – Mel and TOC have been doubling up at parkrun – so we have a shorter pod! You’re welcome. That hasn’t stopped them discussing all the things – like big number twos, missing glasses and stinky tops. Luckily the roving reporters bring some stability at Haigh Woodland, Wöhrder See and Renmark parkruns. And can you guess the Who Am I? Four points if you can.
Simon tells us about his many adventures over the last month, while Sarah shares news of her visit to the newest parkrun in the west. They talk Unity Day, launches, and a future prediction. Will it be right? There are roving reports at Neale Park & Henley Lake, Abbey Park and Coolum Eco parkrun. Reginald talks all things Swedish and let’s not forget, it’s time to get booking your pALM adventure for 2026!
We wish to advise, that due to recent office restructures, this weeks pod may be a little longer than usual. Jokes. It’s really because Mel and TOC are back and like a yarn. Blah, blah, blah, change of staff. Blah, blah, blah, palm location announcement. Also those roving reporters love a chat *eyeroll* *hug* *laughing face*, namely at East Brighton, Pallara and Merredin Peak parkruns. Tune in for all the things.
It’s Simon & Sarah’s time to turn up the volume and mix things up this week. Sarah shares all about her adventure to the nation’s capital, while Simon recaps his P-Index achievements. There’s a swather of launches, percentage wars and yet another new segment. Plus there is something else you may just want to hear, so keep your ears open.
In a busy week, Toc & Mel try get their heads around parkrun launch policy as the marathon factor comes to Sydney. Our roving reporters have been busy as Alison checks in at Halswell Quarry, Dave has a visitor at Averley and Ali bring the news from Wimpole parkrun. Dazza flies in, then stops to count the numbers, Reginald goes O/S and six countries have launches. It’s a marathon episode.
Join Simon and Sarah for lots of positive parkrun news. There’s discussions about Singapore’s events, brutal punishment, and Simon even accepts a challenge! There are roving reports by Yvette at Central Burnaby, Callum at Coronation Park and Tracey at Workman’s Beach parkrun. There are launches, new club members and let’s not forget, Streaky September is just around the corner!
Cooo-eee Adventurers! Roles were reversed this week with TOC heading west to the South and Mel in the West and then staying west. The office is looking cleaner, the Big Apple is ripe for the picking but a cancellation closer to home brings discussion. There are roving reports from Downsview in Canada, Billericay in the UK plus a magical report and celebration from Trentham Gardens. Reginald champions Ireland and with that, the office door is locked up as the Victorians head North.
Office standards are questionable as Mel & TOC return to their comfy chairs. But, what isn’t messy is the enjoyment Mel had at Belair National Park parkrun recently, and TOC’s tourism antics over the last month. We’ve got you covered with news from Te Awa in NZ, Central Lakes in Kingsland and Burnage parkrun in the UK. Plus, Reginald brings us lots of country info from the USA. Now all that is required is a new Cleaner …

We did our best and our best is good enough.
Toc and Mel have returned from New Zealand to enjoy running back on home soil. But not before they caught up again at Pyramid Hill Golf Trail parkrun. Mel & Toc took the show on the road to Queenstown in New Zealand for the 8th palm, and the first outside Australia.
We spoke to our two international attendees - Johan Duvenhage from Sud Afrique and Ali Sheppard from the UK. Lyndell and Tracey ran the quizz, and we enjoyed our usual Q & A with the live audience ... some of which you will get to hear.
Sarah is back in the comfy chair, talking with Simon about the last seven weeks, cyclones and a few records. We have a roving report from Penrith parkrun (not the one in Western Sydney).
