Emmitt is on the road making his deliveries, dealing with his upset wife, and having his usual motel fun. On his way back home he gets a call from his boss who tells him he needs to do a pickup. He's not too pleased with this news, but when he finds a stranded woman on the side of the road his attitude changes. He may have more work to do, but now he has some company for the night. Mare and Ed welcome the Sheriff and Deputy Stock to the inn, after the missing girl once again turns up. As they wait for an ambulance, Mare tries talking to the girl. Everyone is looking for Roland. FBI agents Torv and Robards head to the train crash site, while Rae contacts Michelle. Roland knows she must do something, but she's struggling to get motivated because of everything she's messed up. Michelle is having a rough time. Her nightmares keep coming. Later at night, when Michelle gets home from a night of drinking her problems away, she finds the house dark and quiet and realizes that her problems are about to get a lot worse. Ever since Roland came to visit, Michelle can't stop dwelling on her past. The nightmares have come back with a vengeance. Luckily, her friend Tiffany is there to help take her mind off things. In Tampa, Rae has a serious talk with the Captain who fills her in on Roland and Kent's past. Later, Roland continuing her downward spiral, calls Rae and asks that she send more money.
