Lisa and Christine are the founders of  BeReAVEd Together Inc, a non-profit organization that offers transformational hope and healing for bereaved individuals and their support networks. The name comes from the term “bereaved” which is used for those who are grieving and mourning the loss of someone. Their mission is to offer wellness-based activities, resources, services and opportunities to empower healing and the vision is to embrace grief, equip hearts and empower healing. Shawnee Penkacik and her business partner Carrie Reichartz, a retired lawyer and nonprofit coach, discussed the concept of a manifesto, which outlines what a business stands for and against. They wrote a Christian Rocketeers manifesto to quickly skyrocket their Christian nonprofit clients to the next level of success in building their nonprofit. The manifesto was written before they got in front of their clients and focused on the pieces and parts that would bring the most success.  The manifesto was a statement of their beliefs and a promise to their clients that they would deliver results.  The manifesto emphasizes working with God, not by yourself, and taking daily steps to quickly build and share the purpose that God gave you. It encourages people to stand firm in faith and to live out God's Word in order to see Jesus save, change and transform lives daily. Shawnee Penkacik and Carrie Reichartz are the hosts of the Christian Rocketeers podcast. They have recently relaunched the podcast and are excited to share their new direction. The mission of the podcast is to help those who are thinking about starting a nonprofit but are scared and don't think they have the money, time, or ability to do so.  Carrie shares that God spoke to her when she was opening Mercy's Light Family, a maternity home in Kenya, and told her to write out her journey for others. She was in the process of writing a book about the work she was doing and then realized it was actually about helping others start nonprofits.   The podcast is the result of God's guidance, and they hope to provide encouragement to those who are hesitant to start a nonprofit or are struggling in the journey.   Shawnee and Carrie have been praying for the launch of their new Christian Rocketeer podcast. They opened the podcast by reading from Luke 10:2, which talks about Jesus sending out workers into the harvest. The speaker details how she had a dream about wheat which she believes was God leading her to start Christian Rocketeers to help others with funding and so much more. The podcast is meant to help people who are on their own nonprofit journey but have not been able to get the traction or funding they need to get to the next level.
