Join Lou for Memory 349, recorded during a December 2021 evening at Epcot in Walt Disney World. After leaving the Imagination Pavilion, we make our way to the France Pavilion for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, an attraction that had been unavailable for most of the day but has finally reopened. We reunite in the queue just as the line moves into the building. The wait is filled with the sounds of Paris at night: cars passing, dogs barking, people going about their evening, and the attraction's theme song drifting across the rooftops. Chef Gusteau welcomes us to Remy's kitchen in both English and French, Emile gives us a safety message, and then we board our little blue mouse.Inside the attraction, we slip down the glass into the kitchen, hurry through the pantry and refrigerator, and hide beneath the stove as the oven ignites above us. In the dining room, we roll under a cart with its wheels spinning beside us before arriving at the garden restaurant created for Remy and his family. Along the way, a small behind-the-memory moment captures the old reminder to collect and return our 3D glasses, a detail that is no longer part of the attraction now that the films have changed to 2D.Press play and experience the Parisian ambience, playful family reactions, and immersive binaural audio with headphones.🎧 Best experienced with headphones🌐 More memories at WDW-Memories.net📌 Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, Remy, France Pavilion, Epcot, Walt Disney World, Paris at night, Disney nostalgia, binaural audio, WDW-Memories podcastSupport💰 Become a recurring supporter for as little as $1 a month💰💰 Discounts and FREE trials available on Apple Podcasts, Patreon, and Spotify
Join Lou for Memory 348, recorded during a December 2021 evening in Epcot at Walt Disney World. After stepping out of The Seas with Nemo & Friends and watching a playful dolphin, we head past The Land Pavilion and into the Imagination Pavilion for a ride on Journey Into Imagination With Figment. The posted ten-minute wait becomes a little tour of the queue as we stop to look at the doors, movie props, and jokes tucked throughout the Imagination Institute. Once we're seated, the Sight lab delights the kids with its butterfly gag, and the Smell lab brings familiar laughter. Then the Sound lab creates one of the episode's most memorable moments. As a binaural podcaster, Lou loves the way carefully placed sound can make an unseen scene feel present all around us.The ride ends with Figment at home and his familiar song. Outside, the kids try to catch the leaping fountains before the water turns and runs away from them. Then we set off toward France, hoping to catch Remy after the attraction has spent most of the day unavailable. This Memory is also a fond look at the Imagination Pavilion as it is today, with recent D23 news about the pavilion and the possible return of Dreamfinder making the future especially exciting. Experience the laughter, the fountains, and the Sound lab in immersive binaural audio with headphones.🎧 Best experienced with headphones🌐 More memories at WDW-Memories.net📌 Journey Into Imagination With Figment, Figment, Imagination Pavilion, Epcot, Walt Disney World, Dreamfinder, Disney nostalgia, binaural audio, WDW-Memories podcastSupport💰 Become a recurring supporter for as little as $1 a month💰💰 Discounts and FREE trials available on Apple Podcasts, Patreon, and Spotify
Join Lou for Memory 347, recorded on a beautiful December evening in Epcot. After a relaxing flight on Soarin’ Around the World, we step outside into perfect Florida weather — warm, comfortable, and glowing with the last colors of sunset. It’s the ideal moment to continue our peaceful evening with a visit to The Seas with Nemo & Friends. We walk from the Land Pavilion to The Seas, where — to our surprise — there’s absolutely no wait. The entire queue is empty, letting us stroll straight to our clamshells. We split up 2‑and‑2, adults in one vehicle and kids in the other, and begin our gentle underwater adventure.Every effect is working beautifully, from the jellyfish to the East Australian Current. The only oddity is the final scene, where the audio is slightly out of sync, creating a funny echo as we pass the aquarium windows. But the real magic comes when we see the actual marine life — sharks, schools of fish, and even a playful dolphin enjoying a toy. After the ride, we slip around the corner to watch the dolphin for a moment before stepping back outside into that perfect Florida evening. Traci even comments on how lovely the weather was — comfortable, peaceful, and full of that unmistakable Epcot nighttime energy.🎧 Best experienced with headphones, this Memory captures the calm, charm, and underwater wonder of The Seas pavilion.🌐 More memories at WDW‑Memories.net 📌 The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Epcot, Seas Pavilion, Disney aquarium, Finding Nemo ride, Epcot sunset, Disney binaural audio, WDW Memories podcastSupport 💰 Become a recurring supporter for as little as $1 a month 💰💰 Discounts and FREE trials available on Apple Podcasts, Patreon, and Spotify
Join Lou for Memory 346, recorded in December 2021 as our Epcot adventure continues. After the intense Orange Mission on Mission: SPACE, we cross Future World in search of something calmer — and Soarin’ Around the World is the perfect choice. The walk across the park is quieter than usual due to construction, but once we enter the Land Pavilion, the familiar energy returns. We head down the escalator and luck into a short wait, giving us plenty of time to enjoy one of our favorite queues in all of Walt Disney World: the world‑trivia game. It’s a fun, family‑friendly competition that always makes the wait fly by.We make it through the merge point, continue playing as long as we can, and eventually enter the pre‑show area. Patrick, our Chief Flight Attendant, delivers his iconic safety briefing — a moment that always makes us smile — and soon we’re buckled in and lifted high into the clouds. The music swells, the scents shift, and we glide across the globe in one of Epcot’s most beloved attractions. After landing, we debate riding again, but the line has grown out the door. Instead, we head back into the evening air, where Spaceship Earth treats us to a beautiful light show — its own version of sunset and starlight — before we continue our journey.🎧 Best experienced with headphones, this binaural audio episode captures the calm, beauty, and excitement of Soarin’ Around the World.🌐 More memories at WDW‑Memories.net 📌 Soarin’ Around the World, Epcot Land Pavilion, Disney flight simulator, Future World nostalgia, Disney binaural audio, WDW Memories podcastSupport 💰 Become a recurring supporter for as little as $1 a month 💰💰 Discounts and FREE trials available on Apple Podcasts, Patreon, and Spotify
Join Lou for Memory 345, recorded on a December 2021 evening as our Epcot adventure continues. After enjoying the Canadian Holiday Voyageurs and saying goodbye to our friends near the Christmas tree, we head into Future World — passing the roar of Test Track before arriving at Mission: SPACE.This time, the kids are ready for their first‑ever ride on the Orange Mission, and their excitement is contagious. Traci decides to sit this one out, so we leave our things with her and head inside for a surprisingly short wait. You’ll hear the nervous energy as we move through the queue, the extended delay in the briefing room, and the moment we finally receive our roles for the mission.Once we’re locked into our cockpit, the fun begins. From the intense G‑forces of launch to the sudden shift into simulated weightlessness, the kids’ laughter, screams, and pure joy make this Memory something special. After landing on Mars, we reunite with Traci and begin making our way toward Soarin’ — ready for something a little gentler… well, for most of us. Mikey is ready to go again.🎧 Best experienced with headphones, this binaural audio episode captures the thrill, anticipation, and excitement of a first‑time Orange Mission launch.🌐 More memories at WDW‑Memories.net 📌 Mission SPACE Orange, Epcot Future World rides, Disney G‑force attractions, kids first thrill ride, Disney binaural audio, WDW Memories podcastSupport 💰 Become a recurring supporter for as little as $1 a month 💰💰 Discounts and FREE trials available on Apple Podcasts, Patreon, and Spotify
