God Will Be Glorified

God Will Be Glorified

2026-03-0839:50

When your back is against a wall and you’re facing a dead end, will you stand firm or give in to fear? Pastor Lee continues the "Be Still and Know" series by diving into the miraculous story of the Red Sea, where God turned a dead end into a highway of deliverance. Alongside his wife Rachel, Pastor Lee shares the vulnerable behind the scenes journey of their move to Metairie, including the seasons of "not yet" and the dreams that confirmed their calling. The central question for every believer is whether God will be glorified through your life or in spite of it. Learn why your part is simply to trust and obey while God orchestrates the victory.
How do we recognize God's hand at work when life feels like it's shaking? Returning from a mission trip to Africa, Pastor Lee uses the story of the 10 plagues in Exodus to show how God makes His power unmistakable, even to those who don't follow Him. Just as the magicians in Egypt had to admit they were seeing "the finger of God," we can learn to see His fingerprints in our own difficult seasons, from health miracles to the survival of the church. This message is a powerful call to be still, be humble, and "lean in" to the unique mandate God has for your life. What is one "fingerprint" of God you can see in your past when you look back? Let us know!Follow this podcast for more messages on how to stand firm when everything around you is shaking.
Actions Speak Louder

Actions Speak Louder

How many times have you heard God calling you to do something and decided to hit the "snooze button" instead? In this message from The Tabernacle Church in Metairie, Louisiana, Rhondalyn Thibodaux explores why our actions often speak much louder than our words. Drawing from the story of King Saul in 1st Samuel 15, Rhonda breaks down how easy it is to justify partial obedience when God is actually asking for a total surrender of our own plans.Rhonda shares her personal journey of moving away from a "lukewarm" life to find true peace and healing in Jesus. She challenges us to consider three major parts of walking with God: learning to truly listen, humbling ourselves to surrender control, and having the courage to take a step of faith even when we do not have all the details. Whether you are feeling a tug on your heart to change your lifestyle or you are ready to stop making excuses, this message is a powerful call to answer the "alarm" God is sounding in your life today.
How Will You Praise?

How Will You Praise?

2026-02-1539:24

In this moving message titled "How Will You Praise?" Rechelle Lyons gets real about the tipping point in her own faith journey. She shares the raw story of facing a discouraging infertility diagnosis and a 1% chance of having kids naturally, followed by the heartbreak of a miscarriage. It is a powerful look at what it means to trust God when your circumstances don't seem to line up with his promises.Through the lens of Jesus entering Jerusalem in Luke 19, Rechelle breaks down the difference between praising God only when things go our way and praising him simply because of who he is. She talks about how easy it is to fall into "conditional praise" or to try and put God in a "religious box" when we feel out of control. She reminds us that even when we are in the thick of a struggle, Jesus remains the same and is always worthy of our worship.Ultimately, this sermon is a reminder that we were created by God and for God. Rechelle challenges us to consider if we are letting creation, like the very stones on the road, praise him more than we do. Whether you are in a season of waiting or walking through a difficult trial, this message will encourage you to shift your perspective toward a heavenly view.Have you ever found yourself offering "conditional praise" when life gets hard? How do you think your daily routine would change if you viewed your life as a testimony meant to bring glory to God, regardless of the outcome?
Wonder of Worship

Wonder of Worship

2026-02-0837:55

Worship is way more than just a song we sing on Sunday morning. This week, Pastor Lee explores the wonder of worship and the difference between giving God praise and truly yielding our hearts to Him. He digs into the history of King Solomon’s temple to show us a cool principle called "form and fill": when we work by faith to prepare a place for God, He is faithful to fill it with His presence. We also get real about the "idols" in our lives, like comfort or even sports, that can sometimes take God's place. This message is a great reminder that true worship happens through our choices and our obedience, not just our voices.
Power of Praise

Power of Praise

2026-02-0141:29

What do you do when you’re "beat half to death" and stuck in an "inner dungeon" season of life? Using the powerful story of Paul and Silas, Pastor Lee demonstrates how praise isn't a denial of pain, but a declaration of trust that shifts our focus from our problems to our God. At The Tabernacle Church, we are committed to growing people who bring life by celebrating the King in every circumstance. As Pastor Lee encourages us, we must "shift our focus from the chains to the chain breaker" to invite God’s presence into our deepest struggles. Your praise has the power to break chains and bring life to those around you. Join our journey of worship and find more messages at TheTabChurch.net.
Ready to leave the past behind and step into something brand new? Guest speaker, Pastor Anthony Marquize, shares a life-changing message on how we can be "reconciled" to God. Using the simple image of balancing a checkbook, Pastor Anthony explains how God takes all our mistakes and "blots them out" with the blood of Jesus, replacing them with His perfection. You aren't just a "fixed" version of your old self—you are a completely new creature!Pastor Anthony's word for you today is simple: "You have to be more aware of the presence of God than you are your problems. If you become aware of the presence of God, you win". Stop looking in the mirror and seeing your failures; start seeing who God says you are—an overcomer and an ambassador of Christ.Connect with us at: https://thetabchurch.net#TheTabChurch #NewCreation #Overcomer #Reconciliation #AnthonyMarquize #VictoryInChrist #Grace
What if God wanted to use a "foreign king" or a complete stranger to answer your deepest prayers? In this session, we look at the incredible story of King Cyrus and how God "stirs the hearts" of people to make things happen on Earth. We’re on a mission to bring life to every nook and cranny of our community, but that requires moving from just praying to actually obeying. We talk about why you should never despise "small beginnings"—even when your progress looks like a puny concrete slab instead of a finished temple. Whether you’re an intercessor or an instrument of action, discover how to make yourself available so that God doesn’t let your potential go to waste.
Pastor Lee wants to move you past a "religious checkbox" faith where reading the Bible feels like a boring homework assignment,. Instead, he describes prayer as a vital "breathing" process: we inhale God’s life and strength so that we actually have something of value to exhale to the world,. Drawing from the story of Daniel—who continued to pray even while facing a lion's den and a lifetime of captivity—he shows how persistent prayer can move heaven and impact the supernatural realm,,. This is an encouraging reminder that God isn't just trying to keep you surviving; He wants you running through life like an Olympic athlete.
Are you tired of striving and ready to start abiding?. Pastor Lee dives into the famous encounter between Jesus and the woman at the well, showing how the Savior meets us at our "high noon"—the personal, shameful places where we think we are hidden,,. Discover how receiving the Holy Spirit is like a spring of living water that satisfies your deepest spiritual longings forever,,. It’s time to move from being an "outcast" to an "evangelist" as you let His life overflow into your entire city.

If you've gotten a devastating report, remember: Delay is not denial, it's development. Jesus says: DO NOT FEAR, ONLY BELIEVE.#Restoration #Faith #Jairus #Miracles #DoNotFear

We are incredibly thankful for God’s grace! Pastor Lee shares the message Grateful for Provision, the concluding part of the Gratitude series, from the Metairie campus. Drawing inspiration from the faith of Abraham, we learn that being grateful for provision means looking for the grace of God (eukaristia) being extended to us in all circumstances. When we take steps of faith, we are essentially tagging God into our situation, and He promises to meet the need. He already met our greatest need by providing salvation through His Son, so we know He will graciously give us all things!
We're moving along in the awesome "Gratitude" series! Tune in as Pastor Lee from The Tabernacle Church Metairie campus shares an amazing message titled "Grateful for Life". He reminds us that life is sacred, precious, and a genuine miracle. Get ready to hear about Mary pouring out expensive nard—a powerful example showing that true gratitude is much bigger than just saying "thank you". Lee emphasizes that life is a gift paid for by Jesus, and our gratitude should motivate us to offer him a "life poured out"!
Join us for the start of our new series, Gratitude, with the message "Grateful for Family." Rhondalyn Thibodaux explores the difficult truth that family can be both beautiful and broken. Drawing inspiration from her own 10-year vow renewal and the biblical story of Joseph, she explains how gratitude prevents division. Rhondalyn encourages us to see the covenant value in the people God has placed in our lives. Discover how to forgive family members, redefine past wrongs for God’s good, and stand against the enemy's plan to destroy your household. She urges us to focus on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony, and remember that earthly family is temporary, but Kingdom family is eternal.
In this powerful continuation of the "Sight to the Blind" series, Lee explains Jesus's clear command to the healed man: Do not even enter the village! This message is a fierce call to holiness and being set apart from what is common. Using the vivid metaphor of an eagle living like a chicken, Lee reveals the three "villages" holding us back from soaring in God's purpose: the Village of Recognition (seeking fame over faithfulness and letting the fruit speak for itself), the Village of Unbelief (where faith is laughed at and miracles are blocked), and the Village of Distraction (where common things, like lifestyle choices, consume our attention and availability). Discover why setting yourself apart for God's purposes alone, with an undivided commitment, is the only way to fulfill your unique destiny.
Are You Seeing Trees?

Are You Seeing Trees?

2025-11-0227:57

Are you just seeing trees? We’re diving into the powerful two-part message, "Sight to the Blind: Are You Seeing Trees?" with Pastor Lee Lukinovich.Based on the incredible miracle story where a blind man sees people looking "like trees walking", this message is a prophetic picture of our own discipleship journey. Pastor Lukinovich shares how God wants to do a deep work in you so you can move past spiritual dullness and see people clearly—not vaguely or dully. This message explores how we often fail to see people clearly in three ways, including overlooking them or seeing them as merely "favored". Discover why seeing clearly helps replace frustration and annoyance with intercession and compassion. Get ready to see others the way Jesus does: as God's harvest and your purpose and ask Him to touch your eyes again so you can truly love your neighbor as yourself!
This final message in our series, “What does God say about?”, tackles one of the most paralyzing forces we face: fear. More than a fleeting emotion, fear is a spiritual weapon wielded by the enemy to derail God’s purpose for your life. Pastor Lee unpacks fear through the acronym F.E.A.R.—False Evidence Appearing Real—revealing how it thrives in our imagination and causes us to freeze or “play possum.”Through the story of Joshua, we explore how an entire generation missed the Promised Land because they surrendered to fear. But there’s a better way forward. Pastor Lee introduces a simple, powerful formula for walking by faith: HBO—Hear, Believe, Obey. This message reminds us that courage isn’t the absence of fear, but the decision not to bow to it. And here’s the twist: the very thing you’re most afraid of might be the clearest sign that you’re stepping into exactly what God has called you to.
The topics we cover in this series—like hypocrisy and judging—aren't just hot topics; they can be traps leading to the death of a believer. This week, we use the story of the Trojan Horse to illustrate how entertainment works in your life: it holds your attention and subtly influences you to do what culture wants. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but God wants you to have abundant life! When we are careless about what entertains us, we risk being discipled by the culture instead of by Jesus. King David showed us the way by being protective, making a covenant about his eyes and ears, because he knew that whatever he gave his attention to would eventually get his affection. We stress that if you let something in, it will come in and live in you. What you consume is either going to feed your spirit and faith or feed your flesh and sin nature. Remember, the flesh is hostile to God. We examine how ungodly entertainment can desensitize your spirit and starve your hunger for God.Not all entertainment is evil—good entertainment can leave you feeling encouraged and rejuvenated (just ask about the fun that happened at Band of Brothers!). However, we must beware of the danger: when sin starts looking normal and holiness starts looking extreme, your gates have been open too long. We can't stop everything we're exposed to in this world, but we can control what we allow into our gates and choose not to entertain. God's Word gives us a filter: fix your thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). It’s time to take inventory, clean house, wipe your histories, and unfollow anything that is drowning out God in your life.
