GRAB YOUR CITYSTACK! Coming soon to a town near you. In the meantime: the best present for friends, family and loved ones living in and around London!!!

The last podcast for a while, this session, I (Nick) am joined by Gladstone Arms landlady (possibly the only Indian landlady in London, or even the UK) Megha.
In this episode we learn of the fantastic recovery story of The Gladstone Arms, what Desit pubs are, why pubs can be a foundation to a community and their fabulous beer and food selection.
This will be the last episode for a while, its been a long journey, and the original gang of Roxy, Nick, Mark, Laura, Dan, Niall and co, we have all moved around the UK, leaving only myself (Nick) at the helm, which is really fricking hard to do.
I (Nick) will still be posting on our socials for fun and maybe do more in the future, watch this space...

This time, joined by new co-host to the team Alison, founder and CEO of CityStack and official partner for this episode, we were lucky enough to finally podcast in person at The Bow Bells, East London.
In this episode we have our usual features such as pub of the month and 'pub news' and we were lucky to be joined by The Bow Bells landlord Dean, where we talked about the long family history of this pub, how ghosts are freaking people out in the women's toilet and what is and is not considered a 'proper boozer' in the East End.

This September we were lucky to get back out in person to the pubs! So Nick ventured out to the 1st of 4 local, North Hertfordshire through the amazing help of North Herts CAMRA team, who will be co-hosting the future ones with Nick. The excitement of getting going again made this episode 'extra fun'. By extra fun, we mean long, but it was a lot of fun and we totally think you should listen to it all :)
In this episode, we discuss how Garden City Brew came to be, pub and all. Meet a local, and talk about their jubilee celebrations in light of the queen dying whilst we were in the pub recording!

Earlier this year I (Nick) was invited to enjoy Brew LDN and record a podcast with the wonderful JUHA from Pints Please (see link below). Juha launched a drink reviewing/recording app (yep similar to Untapped) called 'Pints Please'. Live from Brew LDN 2022, myself and co-host Andrew from Rhythm & Brews and discuss with Juha the reason for this new app, what the Finnish pub scene looks like and why pairing beer, particularly one from Yorkshire, with music, isn't as easy as it sounds.

We discussed the pubs reopening (obviously), how Cloudwater pissed of the beer hipster (us) and even touched on being a sneaky hop smeller.
