Happy Friday the 13th! This week we are talking about the last Friday the 13th that hit theaters with Friday the 13th 2009. It's a remake but is focused on Jason, who is barely in the original. For it, I chatted with an Actress Charlotte Kirk who had a small role in that movie but now has starred in films in 2020 and has a new film "Duchess" coming out on August 9th, 2024! Charlotte talks about her journey at 19 to the United States to pursue acting. She started with acting schools and then began to audition. We talked about her early roles in big films and how they helped her to take in what works behind the scenes when making a movie. "DON'T SCAN ME!" This week we are talking about a sequel that took 10 years to get made and was one of the weirdest sequels we will ever cover with Scanners II: The New Order. This sequel had epic SFX, but had such a confusing storyline and the rules for scanners weren't consistent.
