It's the last episode of Rambling About Cars at Motor1, but we aren't just fading away. Mazda has a "new" CX-70 that sure looks like a CX-90 without third-row seats. Lexus has a GR-infused concept hatchback that looks interesting. And we can't end three years of podcasts without a very special "cheap" car challenge. Join Bruce and Smith for the Rambling finale and get a preview of future plans for the rambling duo. 2025 Mazda CX-70: https://www.motor1.com/news/706547/20... Victoria Scott is our guest host this week. We'll check out the new Dodge Charger's fully unveiled exterior and the major upgrades to the Toyota GR Yaris. Victoria will tell us about her trips driving a Buick Roadmaster and Honda Beat. The cheap car challenge will be to spend $7,000 on an off-road capable vehicle preferably with a locking differential.
CES is this week, and Honda has the biggest automotive news coming from the show. Its 0 Series concepts show the polarizing shape of the brand's future EVs. The VW GTI is a hot hatch icon, but you can't get it with a manual gearbox anymore. Plus, there's a bizarre crash scene with a Ford Mustang stuck in a wall. A bunch of Dodge Durango Last Call models are coming. Plus, let's check out a game called 280 ZZZAP.
It's a new year and there's much to talk about, starting with everything we currently know about the next-generation Dodge Charger. We check out a Toyota Tundra with nearly a million miles on the odometer, dive into some interesting 2023 sales figures, have some fun with Stompers, and examine a quirky Suzuki going to the Tokyo Auto Salon.
We're flying solo today with just one host. The show will probably be a short one. The topics will be Suzuki Jimnys dressed as rally cars, an abandoned Mercedes concept, and a widebody kit for a Lamborghini Countach.
