Non-generational wealth and why not one single “famously wealthy” Black in America is talking about using Black wealth to employ hundreds nevertheless thousands of “generationally” unemployed or underemployed Blacks in America? “MMF – The Clarity Hotline” presents “Strange Bedfellows! Fear, doubt, envy, greed, apathy, selfishness, did we say fear? Famously wealthy Blacks are obviously afraid in America? Thousands of African American politicians and millionaires have failed to change the landscape for Black America. Using factories, the Chinese brought revolutionary financial change to China in less than 40 years. Strangely, programs and schools remain the primary focus for both the dominant narrators and super-rich Black folk - looking at strange bedfellows! “MMF – The Clarity Hotline” looks at what you can discover while staying at home. Monday, March 23rd 3:00PM Eastern/ 12:00PM Pacific The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Anna Clark. A Detroit, Michigan journalist and author, Clark was a Fulbright fellow in Nairobi, Kenya, and a Knight-Wallace journalism fellow at the University of Michigan, and she was awarded the Excellence in Environmental Journalism award from the Great Lakes Environmental Law Council. We'll discuss her 2018 publication The Poisoned City, which investigates the years of deception and suffering of the Flint, Michigan lead poisoning. The predominantly black Michigan city attempted to alert White officials for years to the unsafe and hazardous water conditions. They were ignored, rebuffed and lied to. Years after the name "Flint" has become globally synonymous with lead-poisoned water, no one has been held criminally liable for the catastrophe and it's still controversial as to whether or not the water is safe to drink. Adding insult to injury, the 2020 global coronavirus has resulted in unprecedented measures to ensure the health and well-being of all citizens. This includes a halt to evictions in numerous regions around the planet, as well as a halt to water shutoffs. White officials have devised all manner of imaginative schemes to ensure that everyone has access to water. We'll ask Ms. Clark why this attitude couldn't have been adopted years ago. #ItCameFromChina **Details for The C.O.W.S. 2020 Counter-Racist Yoga Retreat: Washington D.C.** #4MoYears INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Invest in The C.O.W.S. - https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. This week Angel looks at gun violence in the context of the coronavirus pandemic in the United States.
Tonight we are joined on the broadcast by "Sheila" who is a community organizer in the New York area whose son is caged at the municipal jail widely known as "The Tombs" (metropolitan detention complex) in Manhattan. While MDC Manhattan officials have been virtually silent on the issue, reports from the inside say that captives and overseers being infected with COVID-19 have rapidly increased in recent days. Positive confirmations stand at 38 throughout the incarcerated population inside NYC, but given the close quarters and unsanitary conditions in facilities like The Tombs, many are concerned that this number is bound to grow.
Sunday, March 22nd 3:00PM Eastern/ 12:00PM Pacific The Context of White Supremacy hosts the Global Sunday Talk on Racism. This broadcast is specifically constructed to encourage participation from non-white people outside the United States and Victims of White Supremacy who may not be able to tune in during normal broadcast hours. The System of White Supremacy is a global enterprise, so Victims of Racism should keep a global if not universal perspective when contemplating solving The Problem. This marks a historic time on the planet as billions around the globe respond to the so called novel coronavirus. We are eager and privileged to have a number of C.O.W.S. listeners dispersed around the planet. We ask for their observations to compare and contrast how this outbreak is being dealt with in different countries. We're curious to hear how anxious people are in other parts of the world and what suggestions they have for dealing with this unprecedented crisis as best we can. #ItCameFromChina **Details for The C.O.W.S. 2020 Counter-Racist Yoga Retreat: Washington D.C.** #4MoYears INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Invest in The C.O.W.S. - https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. Saturday, March 21st 9:00PM Eastern/ 6:00PM Pacific The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.  #ANTIBLACKNESS Prognostications that 2020 would be a historic and potentially cataclysmic year look fulfilled as the beginning stages of the global pandemic in response to the novel coronavirus (Covid-19). Last week's unprecedented business shutdowns and travel restrictions were followed by even greater confinement. Most schools across the United States are closed. The Canadian/U.S. Border is closed - jeopardizing The C.O.W.S. Counter-Racist Yoga Retreat in Toronto. Many businesses are closed. Grocers have reduced hours and slightly barren shelves. We'll review a historic week on the planet, where amidst widespread confusion and anxiety, many Whites, including President Donald J. Trump, are using this moment to practice White Supremacy, pejoratively labeling the problem the "Chinese virus." **Details for The C.O.W.S. 2020 Counter-Racist Yoga Retreat: Washington D.C.** #4MoYears INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Invest in The C.O.W.S. - https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. Friday, March 20th 8:00PM Eastern/ 5:00PM Pacific https://www.blacktalkradionetwork.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Hourly-workers-in-limbo-as-small-businesses-struggle-from-Washingtons-coronavirus-outbreak.mp4 The Context of White Supremacy hosts our Friday weekly forum on neutralizing Workplace Racism. In an unprecedented week, hundreds of thousands of workers around the world find themselves not working at all or working dramatically reduced hours in response to the so-called Wuhan coronavirus. What started with eliminating handshakes and social distancing has transmogrified to working from home and a gargantuan number of closures. For many this means a sudden decline in income.  Because this is unfolding globally, it could be cataclysmic for a legions of non-white people. The C.O.W.S. will evaluate how this is impacting non-white workers. For working parents, school closures have added a new problem. We'll discuss problems with working from home and challenges for those who are still required to be on the physical plantation. Gus encourages non-white workers to take their healthy and safety seriously and to be extremely alert for changes to sick leave policy and/or work place regulations in general. And most assuredly, this is the time remember that workplace code mandates that non-white people NEVER consume food products brought to the workplace by others. **Details for The C.O.W.S. 2020 Counter-Racist Yoga Retreat: WashingtonDC** #WorkplaceRacism INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943# The C.O.W.S. Thursday, March 19th 8:00PM Eastern/ 5:00PM Pacific The Context of White Supremacy hosts our third study session on Dr. Sylvia Hood Washington's Packing Them In: An Archaeology of Environmental Racism in Chicago, 1865-1954. An environmental epidemiologist, environmental engineer and environmental historian, Dr. Washington is Chief Environmental Research Scientist at Environmental Health Research Associates, LLC. With three decades of research experience examining the impact of industrial pollution on human health and ecosystems, she's the creator and editor-in-chief of the first international environmental health disparities journal, Environmental Justice. We'll inspect her 2004 text, Packing Them In: An Archaeology of Environmental Racism in Chicago, 1865-1954. Chicago is a significant city in North America, and black people have sojourned to this region for over a century. Consequently, Whites have devoted a staggering amount of time, energy and resources to study, warehouse, terrorize and poison the black people of the "windy city." During last week's session Dr. Hood highlighted Dr. George Washington Carver's efforts at the turn of the 1900's to address black people's problems - which included healthy environments. W. E. B. DuBois a prominent sociologist of the period, also commented on the importance of clean water and air for black people. In fact, Dr. Hood even highlighted Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. venturing to Chicago to address poor living conditions for black people as well as final efforts to help black sanitation workers in Tennessee. #ReadingIsMoreImportantThanWatchingTelevision INVEST in The COWS – paypal.me/TheCOWS The C.O.W.S.
