It seems Christians sometimes miss the point of life here on earth. They either believe this life doesn't matter at all or they take the opposite approach, getting so comfortable with the here and now that they forget eternity. But 1 Peter gives us an identity that should shape how we approach life: We are exiles. Join us to discover what it means to live out that identity and why the greatest battle we face doing it isn't "out there" but is really from within.

Living in Iowa, we need to be prepared for all kinds of storms. But there's a difference between planning for and preparing for them. The same is true for the eventual crises that come our way in life. This Sunday, Pastor Jeremy will share a personal story from his family's recent storm and show us from 1 Peter 1:3-9 why we are a protected people. You'll see three ways God prepares our hearts long before the storm hits. It's a message about living hope when life feels out of control.

We're jumping right into 2026 with a new message series in 1 Peter. While our culture has a lot to say about who we are, we'll see what the Bible says about our true identity. Join us as we begin this study and see who we really are and what defines us as followers of Jesus.

What does it look like to say “Here I am” to God before you know all the details? In this message we'll explore Moses’ calling in Exodus 3 and the powerful posture of "Hineni"— being ready, willing, and available to what God invites us into.

As we celebrate Christmas together, we'll see that we need something other than ourselves for spiritual light and life. God gave that to us by sending us the Light of the World, Jesus.

As we wrap up our Cultivate 2.0 series this week, we're honing in on the final piece: Community. We'll see the three distinct communities Jesus prayed for in John 17 and how they relate to our definitions of community today. Then we'll look at what we can do with these truths in practice as we near the opening of the community center. Plus, we've got some updates about the community center you'll want to hear yourself! And, we encourage you to pray about how God may be guiding you to commit to Cultivate as we hit the final stretch of the initiative.

Week three of Cultivate 2.0 brings us to the topic of generosity... but it's not exactly the message you might be expecting to hear. Generosity is about so much more than money and finances. We hope you'll join us to learn more about what it is - where it starts, when it happens, and what it can look like in different forms. We'll also see God's generosity to us all throughout Scripture.

When you think of hospitality, some big names in our culture may come to mind. But the idea of hospitality actually goes way, way back - and was designed by God himself. This week, we're looking at what hospitality is at its core, what the Bible says about it, and why it's really important. Join us to learn how we can each practice hospitality in our homes, neighborhoods, and the new community center to make a difference for others.

We're one week into our new series, Cultivate 2.0, and we've already established that our ultimate commitment is to be a church and share the gospel. This week, we look at why that decision drives everything we do. See what we can learn from the early church's model of transforming lives, why our mission is more important than ever, and the one thing we cannot lose in the midst of it all.

We're wrapping up our two-part series on the person and work of Jesus this week with a deeper dive into the Gospel. On one hand, it's really quite simple. But on the other hand, there's a lot of depth that we shouldn't miss. We'll explore the work He did that forms our core beliefs and actions.

We've covered a lot of drama and a lot of trauma in Joseph's story over the last several weeks.
